If you are old enough to remember the Seventies, you may remember a famous photo that appeared in Life Magazine. This was in 1972, during the Vietnam War. In the photo, bomber planes are dropping napalm on a group of South Vietnamese children, who are trying to run away down a wide road. And the photo that became so famous is of a little South Vietnamese girl running down that road, naked because her clothes have been burned off by the napalm. You remember that photo. It won a Pulitzer Prize.

Anyway, what do you suppose: that little girl survived. Her name is Kim and she has not only become a Christian, she has founded The Kim Foundation, which is dedicated to fostering forgiveness. For she has forgiven her attackers. And Kim has written a book about her story called Fire Road. It came out only a year or two ago. It is great.
