I'm glad to see our tax dollars funding a venue to bring a fine Christian message to the public.
I thought that there would be those who would enjoy hearing this good news. Wouldn't you agree?
Oh well.I don't see the how what you posted refutes the statements made in the video.
Did you read the ALA statement or not? If if is somehow unsatisfying with regard to whatever Kirk is claiming, I don't know what to tell you. I think the ALA statement is pretty clear. They want public use of meeting rooms to be inclusive and, as an organization, don't consider haranguing children about "wokeness" and "CRT bad" to be inclusive. If Kirk just wanted to pray, sing some songs and read his book, that would be fine. His need to inject culture war politics into story time is what makes it problematic.Maybe you can break that down for me...well...I mean...unless you're just here to troll the thread.
The Christianpost article sounds a lot like: “These people don’t want to to read this book that I wrote!”Oh well.

Here's the Christian Post article I quoted above if you need more context.
Kirk Cameron demands investigation of American Library Association for religious discrimination
Kirk Cameron and his publisher, Brave Books, are calling on the federal government to investigate the American Library Association as the Christian author and actor claims the association advised ...www.christianpost.com
I did. You see, I'm not the one making an argument from ignorance.Did you read the ALA statement or not?
Thanks for making it clear that you had no intention of addressing my post.Oh well.
It's good to see Christians reach out to the greater community to teach youth solid Christian values.Good for them and well within their rights. More parental involvement with children is excellent.
Those are libelous words in God's book also. I hope you can back them up.Why would I want to watch a known prevaricator making stuff up when I could get the story straight from the ALA?
Yes, they serve all patrons.Do they?
I was asking. I didnt say I believed one way or the other. What would make you believe so?
ORLY?Yes, they serve all patrons.
Well if any evidence materializes; I feel confident that you'll be sure to let me know.I was asking. I didnt say I believed one way or the other.
But to your question: evidence would make me believe.
Fort Myers, FL. — Nearly twenty children gathered Saturday at their local library for story time hosted by a mother of two, who volunteered to organize a “See You at the Library” event sponsored by Brave Books and its Christian author Kirk Cameron.
The group of families at the Lake Regional Library in Fort Myers, Florida kicked off the story hour with a prayer, asking Jesus to protect children while they gave thanks for the freedom of speech. They closed their event by singing “God Bless America.”
During story time, they read Mr. Cameron’s book “Pride Comes Before the Fall” and spoke afterwards about not being prideful and helping others.

Huh?Those are libelous words in God's book also. I hope you can back them up.
I think the newsworthy part is that no crazed Antifa liberals showed up brandishing firearms, banging on the glass doors and threatening the people who chose to attend.Libraries serve all patrons in their community. Is there something newsworthy about this you want to discuss?
It absolutely is. You know that all of these people have a place to go to do this very thing pretty much anytime they want and would be welcomed with open arms and absolutely no one would give a care in the world. There are these big buildings with crosses on top on just about every street corner in America, but they need to use a public library? So, yeah, it's absolutely a stunt.I dislike the use of religion and prayer as a publicity stunt.
