"The flesh"!!!!
That is a definate candidate for the list of games people play.
No rythme or reason to it. No explanation.
Just point at someone and start chanting the magic word: "flesh.... flesh... flesh".
Reminds me of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" when the aliens point at the man and start screeching.
^_^

This one hurt me didaskalos. Oh Lord, thats some funny stuff here.

We once had an episode in our church where a member of our Oneness and Agreeability Forum started a thread to say that our founding and guiding document The Great Fred was a book chock full of damnable lies, and was probably conceived by a mad monk somewhere in the depths of Germany to counter the effects of the reformation.

This attack on our most revered and sacred text (outside of the Bible) gave rise to the Second Council of the Supreme Quaffters to do a thorough examination of The Great Fred, and to compare it with the Holy Scriptures. This was a process which we call Authenticatability. If a book fails this test, it is rejected by our members and stored in a room that we call The Depository Of Books From Hell, and books from this room are only used for special research and to show our members what false doctrine looks like.

After putting The Great Fred to the test, the Council decided that it was completely authentic, and, although it would never be at the same status as the Holy Scriptures, it would continue to be an important and necessary guide to the attitude and behaviour of our members world wide.

The main reasons for the positive results were that the great number of people who had their faith strengthened and encouraged by reading it. (There are extracts in my blog for your interest and edification). We judged our book on its fruits.

We then looked very carefully at the fruits displayed by the person who made the criticisms, and most members agreed that when they read this person's posts, they entered into a sad condition called Negativaration, and required deliverance ministry to bring them back to Agreeability and Postivaration. We started Banisharadication Proceedings, but before they could be concluded, the person ventured into uncharted areas in Antarctica, trying to find further evidence for his views, got bitten by an Ice Snake and sadly perished, never to be seen again. We of the Supreme Council believed this to be in the realm of Providentialoribility and were able to lay the matter to rest.

Haha rock on Sister Christina...I have to agree with the majority in here ProAmerican and second Father Rick's sentiments against you...what's your beef with trying to expose every preacher on tv? I mean it's okay every once in a while but give it a break...especially with a few of the people you mentioned as "Heresay Preachers" *cough Pastor Hinn cough* *cough Brother Crouch cough* scuze me sry about that...you're treadin on very dangerous grounds accusing people left and right and I for one am sick of it. Only God can determine whether or not people who claim to be followers of the Way if their heart is pure before Him, so leave the judging to Him okay?

In Christ,

I am shocked @ the herisies spoken by what I once took for granted as God fearing individuals. Benny Hinn turns my gut. Thank God for the United Christian Broadcast Channels, individuals like RC Sproul as they only seem to air sound doctrine with truth embeded deep. The God channel is airing some desperate stuff, covering sound theoligy & doctrine. Get of money & get on scripture. I know money is important for the furtherance of Gods kingdom, but not n the face all the time, it's as laughable as oprah & dr phil. american channels like TBN will answer for alot to the Almighty.

I first read "I Believe in Visions" back in 1974. I have loved reading and listening to Bro Hagin ever since.
It has not harmed me at all.

R. C. Sproul?!!!!!!

QUINTESSENTIAL CALVINISM!!!

As long as someone preaches pure Calvinistic doctrine like Sproul (which I personally believe is false doctrine) then many of you claim that it is "sound." Doan Mekku me Laaffooo :D

Go ahead with your TULIP doctrine but all it is good for is intellectual sparring with Arminians. It has no practical relevence for one's life and it is a killer of heartfelt intercession for the lost and makes one slack concerning evangelism. After all, God has already sovereignly decreed that some would be saved and others would be lost for no other reason than His own pleasure. What a sick depiction of God. This is the "sound" doctrine of your Mr. Sproul.

No thanks. I'll stick with those heretics from TBN

My friend, to most Calvinists, almost everyone who is NOT teaching Calvinism is NOT preaching "sound" doctrine. Some Calvinist may affirm that others are *barely* Christian, but they are labeled as "semi-pelagian and other wonderful theological terms that the Calvinist loves to pollute the Christian gene pool with.

Don't let it trouble you. This individual gave himself/herself away by lifting up RC Sproul (an avowed Calvinist) as a proponent of sound doctrine.

What's wrong with Laughter? Here is some holy laughter by Hagin his followers:

I hate this site because it brushes all Pentecostals with the same brush.

I may have missed something - but what does that have to do with my post or the Biblical validity of Hagin's teachings?

Well, Hagin teaches that a manifestation of the holy spirit is acting "drunk," in the manner in which he and his followers are engaging. I would be embarrassed to invite my unsaved friend/family member to witness this "manifestation." This is what opens us up to scorn and ridicule.

Sort of of topic, but sort of not. Anyone ever actually met a true Calvinist? Every one I've ever met who calls himself a Calvinist doesn't actually believe Calvinism. The ones who claim to be Calvinists would call a true Calvinist a "Hyper-Calvinist," even though it's the most hyper of them who come the closest the the TULIP model. You can't remove even one point of TULIP without refuting them all, and you can't believe them all and believe in the smallest inkling of choice in any matter.

If you believe in TULIP you must believe that God preordained every last little detail from before creation and that there is no choice in anything, and that God's determination of who would go to Hell had no form or reason, that it was completely random, but God loves us all and wishes we all will be with Him, but He Himself ordained it not so. I don't know anyone who actually believes that.

Or they believe that the scriptures that say that God wishes us all to be with Him in eternity are false.
