What new shows will you be checking out this year? I recorded Justice last week, but my son broke his arm thursday and has had the Tv all weekend, since he can't do much else. I also want to see Jericho, if I haven't missed it yet. Also the Heros looked really cool.

Same here about Jericho and Heros. I don't think you've missed them.
I can't think of anymore right now, but I'll be back.

On ABC I can't wait for Lost to start. I'm also gonna watch Dancing With The Stars again and Desperate Housewives. I haven't really seen many previews for new shows on ABC so I don't know...

On NBC I'll be watching Medium and Crossing Jordan again. As far as new shows go I'm interested in Heroes and Twenty Good Years.

On Fox American Idol. The commercials for 'Til Death look funny, but I won't watch it.

On CW One Tree Hill and Gilmore Girls, but I'm REALLY mad about how Gilmore Girls ended last season so I don't know. No new shows.

On CBS How I Met Your Mother, NCIS, Criminal Minds. I want to see Jericho, and maybe Shark and/or Smith. I'm gonna watch Survivor: Cook Islands even though it's going to be very controversial.

It doesn't really matter to him what shows I like.
I just don't want to hear it!!!
Trust me, it's better to watch them when he's not around.
When he starts making fun of the way they talk on Gilmore Girls it can get ugly.lol

Thankfully my wife and I watch most of the same shows.
Of new shows and returners starting new seasons this week we watched Vanished, House, Standoff, and Bones so far.
Comments as follows:

Nice to see a baddie from 24 play a senator and a good guy on Vanished, tho I can't help but think this show wants to be a clone of 24 and is missing that mark. I can take it or leave it.

House was as good as always :)

Standoff was more watchable than Vanished, but while I like it, i feel the plot about a pair of romantically involved negotiators dealing with hostage crises week after week will soon wear thin. If they also investigated crimes there may be more to do with this show.

Bones is a bit better now with the new boss at the institute. Tension between her and Temperance makes for good drama yet both seem to get along fine despite differences. Funny thing is, the pilot for the show last year made it sound like Temperance was the head of her division, and that it was an independent company separate of the Jeffersonian....
I only wish the series could emulate one aspect of the books. In the novels, Temperance goes all over the world on her cases. In some respects the novels make her
sound like a Indiana Jones :)

Now that leaves us waiting for newcomers Heroes, Jericho, Til Death, and the new seasons of
CSI Miami, Crossing Jordan, LOST,
SVU, CSI NY and CSI LV and 7th Heaven.... Meanwhile, I think the CW made a BIG mistake by not
picking up Invasion. That network has only one new show and it looks like a loser... If anything hurts the CW, it's burying all their sitcoms on Sunday night, and also not making room for Reba. They could have taken 30 minutes from Smackdown to accomodate Reba. Smackdown has lost some of its audience so a trim to 90 minutes wouldn't hurt.
With Reba on hiatus, that leaves Til Death as the only new sitcom of interest.

Aside from those shows, I'll keep my VCR tuned to Korean dramas on AZN TV and will watch the new season of Doctor WHO on sci-fi at the end of the month.

i cant wait for the oc to start. i heard its not going to start till november. it seems like this show is going to end soon. racheal bilson just did an article in a magazine saying that this will be her last season. she said that the characters all grew up to quickly. witch is true. its not like 90210 where there were freshmen for 5 years. it seems like everything that could possible happen to a character already did. i dont know guess we will just have to wait and see!!!
i just watched till death, and happy hour!!! very funny.
i really thought each tv station would start there previews for there line ups by now. i guess it is still to early??
anyone know when greys anatomy or desperate housewives starts??

I have to correct you here LOL I was and still am a HUGE fan of 90210 LOL They were only in high school for three years, they started out as Sophmores, not freshman and graduated the same year I did, maybe that is why I liked it so much, the characters were the same age as me lol
