I have recently heard some very disturbing news that is most probably I ahve to go for a surgery. I really don't understd it. Nothing really has been happening for me that goes the way I wanted for so long already. Many a time, I could tno get what I wanted, I let it slip by encouraging myself that well, maybe that should not be the main focus in my life but now my health needs repairing...I cried really cried yesterday thinking abt this. All I wanted is to have something occur for me which is to my liking, something wonderful that would make me ballistic, but time after time, I have felt disappointed and my emotions are taking its toll over me.
I know that maybe I am just not listening the way I should, maybe God and most probably yes, God has blessed me in other ways of which I am not listening to.....but it does not stop me from feeling the way I do...
I just feel somewhat angry and not feeling close to God anymore and that my faith in God is so weak right now...;-(

I am sorry to hear about your surgery. I hope that God will put his healing hand on your doctors and on your body to make you better.

My pastor told me that after my fiance died several months ago that it was ok to be angry with God for the pain in your life. Even if your faith has waivered and if you are angry at God, just remember that he will still love you and never leave you, no matter what.

Hey! Don't be angry at God! He is NOT responsible for all the pain!!!! If God loves us so much, how can He do bad things to us? All the bad stuff are from the devil. Period. BUT, God can turn the devil's plans into good.

Now, time to exercise your faith. I don't care how weak you feel. I don't care how discouraged you are. You have to CLING on to God. Tell Him, "Lord, help me have faith. I can't do this on my own. Help me Jesus!!!!" Depend totally on Him. Listen, Faith is not saying, "Please heal me God." or "Will you heal me Jesus?". Faith is, "Jesus, I believe that by Your stripes, I AM ALREADY healed. I am well already. Because Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law, which includes sickness." Confess "By Jesus stripes, I AM healed." every hour. Go for the surgery by all means, but expect coming out well and whole.

Let me tell you an amazing testimony. There's this deacon in my church who discovered kidney stones in his kidney. So his doctor told him to go for an operation. But this deacon told his doctor, "I believe what the Word of God says. In Isaiah 53, it is said that by Jesus stripes, I am healed. I am going to stand on the Word. So I'll not be going for an operation."

The doctor looked at him strangely but nevertheless, allowed him to go home and set up another appointment. The deacon went home, stood on and confessed the Word and claimed his healing. Then he went for another check up. He was very excited. Did the scan and everything, but the stones were still there.

The doctor was skeptical. He said, "See, the stones are still there. You better quickly go for an operation or complications will arise."

The deacon said, "No, I'm going to stand on God's Word. God said I am healed so I am healed." The doctor gave in and set up another appointment.

The third appointment. He went for the scan, but.......the stones were still there! This time, the doctor said, "Look, I respect your beliefs and everything, but apparently, this isn't going to work. Now, go for an operation before it gets too late." (His condition was a condition such that the stones could not be removed by laser. Had to do manual operation.)

By this time, normally, people would feel discouraged and give in. After all, 3 times and God has not removed the kidney stones!

But the deacon stood strong and clinged to God. He told the doctor, "Give me one more chance. I believe God's Word."

The doctor looked at him and said, "Fine. One more chance. The next time, if the stones are not gone, I'm going to INSIST on an operation."

So again they set up another appointment and the deacon went home and kept on confessing Isaiah 53.

And he went back for the next appointment. Guess what? The stones were ALL GONE!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!

I'm not telling you to cancel the surgery or anything. But see, God takes time to work. You mustn't waver in your faith. You have to stand strong and not care about what happens. God did not say bad things will not come, but He said that He'll make you more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus!!!!! You WILL overcome whatever trials you face, because God says you would. You gotta have that simply child-like faith!

Don't get angry at God okay? His not the culprit. Get angry with satan instead. =P Tell him, "Go to hell," and you aren't rude coz that's where he belongs *wink*

I'am sorry about your news. You know I understand. Sometimes when things are not going well it is so hard to even pray. Thoughts running through your mind and you feel far away, and you feel that even if you wanted to pray, you just could'nt make the connection to god anyway.

But you know what? God is a loving father. He wants you to come to him with child like faith. He wants you to throw all your worries unto him.

He looks down @ you and he is saying child give me your worries. I want you to build up a strong prayer life.

In the name of Jesus curse the disease in your body bind it in the name of Jesus. Express your doubts and fears, to him, he understand, if your faith is weak ask him to build up your strength and ignite fire in you.

Friend I tell you, he will give you divine favour with the surgeons and doctors. He may heal you on the spot. Whatever you worries, remember you have the fathers favour, and sickness and death has already been defeated over 2000 years ago.

Go to this site http://www.sidroth.org/tvbroadcasts.htm

And watch the broadcast by Guest: Emily Dotson
Subject: Healed of Lupus.

I'am sure this show will be a blessing of this womans strength.

Thanks guys and gals, it's great to read all ur encouragement...
Kellentia, I understd what u r trying to say, I am not saying that miracles do not happen, I know they do, just that I have not experienced one in a looooooooong time, I think. I am sad to say this but why God allowed this to happen to me? I know that God will not want bad things to happen to me but doesn't stana have to get permission from God in order to inflivt me with something?
Faith I agree is something we need to have in terms of believing that it happenned already such as I am healed already before going into the operation theatre, but I just don't feel the faith anymore... like geoff_com and dmcintosh say, I prefer to be silent and don't wish to pray and just be truyl silent before God...

No, satan doesn't have to get God's permission. And anyway, God wants you to exercise your authority and faith to resist and rebuke the devil. Always have this mentality, if God can do it for someone, He can do it for you too. When you're weak, that's when Jesus can make you strong. Its a paradox. When you are the weakest, you are the strongest. Just go running and crying out to God, "Help me! I can't do it alone.......help me have faith Lord."

Remember, life isn't always smoothsailing. Jesus did say that trials and tribulations will come, but He'll make you more than a CONQUEROR through Christ Jesus. You will emerge the victor in this trying times because He who is in you is GREATER than He that is in the world.

Cling on to God and trust Him. Read Psalms 91. Make God your hiding place and refuge, and no evil shall befall you. The closer you draw the God, the more the devil can't attack you coz of God's power! Its said in psalms 91 that no foe can withstand the power of even God's shadow!!! Don't give up. That's what the devil precisely wants you to do. I know its hard, but press on. Focus on Jesus. Remember how Peter walked on water? As long as he focused on Jesus, he was ok. But once he started looking at the waves etc, signifying the problems and tribulations of life, he started to sink.

Enter God's rest. Rest in Him.......stop trying to have faith......let go and ask God to help you have faith, have faith for you. Worship Him and enjoy His presence. Forget all your troubles for once. Once you're in God's rest, satan can't attack you anymore =)

Dear Carnation:
Sometimes when we are inflicted with something in which we do not have control or desire for is exactly the time when we should kneel before our Father in Heaven and place our burdens at His feet. Having faith in His Word; He knows every thought, every need and knows every hair on your head. Who best to seek comfort from?

I promise you that whatever your trial, whatever your condition you will grow in Christ if you will allow Him in to help you. Sometimes it is during these times that we truly see the miracles of God's hand and our faith becomes solid. If we ask not then we will never allow God to go to work in our behalf and witness His personal love for us. Our faith depends on Him. How can faith grow without asking and then allowing God to work in our lives. My relationship with my Father is in direct proportion to my faith in Him who made me.

I pray that you will hear the Holy Spirit calling and pick up the phone.

Heya!!! I find when I look back through my life and see nothing but grief.... what helps is to focus on God's eternal love for us... and not focus on what the enemy is trying to do. Then (hopefully) I begin to think of life as only temporary... I mean all we have to get through all this ^&"££&(*$&£)( and then we can spend eternity we God!!!! Wow!

Did you listen to the radio broadcast links I wrote? Emily Dotson was given a word of healing but Satan turned the pain up. Emily stood on the word and was healed. It did'nt happen instant, it did'nt happen after 3 months, but she should of been dead. I know that this radio programme will help you with your faith.
