I have made the same points so many times in the past, that I usually QV people to my post or thread.

I especially get accused of never having said something (like, "I'm sorry" or changing my mind) by newbies that show up, and that gets aggravating.

Some time ago, I was in a jocular mood, and I showed from the Bible how we Christians were blamed by Nero for the earth's magnetic field reversing itself in AD 58.

One poster called me to task on it, and I said it was a joke.

When he didn't believe me, I qv'd him to a post that, just by coincidence, happened to be posted exactly one year ago to the day.

That made the accuser backtrack, then accuse me of doing it as an anniversary joke.

I would much rather qv a thread, than repeat it, and repeat it wrong by mistake.

And although I operate on the principle that one who is telling the truth never has to memorize what he said --- I still prefer to qv.

In addition, others can see the rebuttals to what I said before they respond to my qv --- and it keeps me from having to repeat a whole discussion all over again.

Such as that lengthy SN1987 thread with my "speed of light through molasses" point that went several pages with long posts.

I wouldn't want to have to repeat that.

Interestingly, I've often clicked your QVs out of morbid curiosity, and never seen you link to one where you do either of these things.

Yes, Nothing personal but my feeling is unchanged. At the very least you should post enough text to give people reading the current thread a hint as to the content of the link and then they can decide if they want to go that route. Just a number though? Perhaps would be better not to post.

God a liar or wrong? I've got some breaking news here for you. God did not write the bible but men did. Add to that the fact that God does not interpret it but we do. Both the authors and the interpreters are prone to error especially when they ignore reailty in favor of thier preconceived beliefs.

Think about it, if there is a God, no one is prone to anything that matters, He will get out the word He wants. Inspiration is something spiritual, and is not limited to those that get the meesage to begin with. The translators and etc also can get inspired. No one can doubt that, without reason, and the only reason anyone will find to doubt it, is their doubts.

In the old testament so much of it is God speaking directly. It is incredible. It would be interesting to see an old testament with all the direct talking of God highlighted. Like the red letter edition for the new testament. So much of both is God directly speaking.

I think you know that your notion of this drastically different past is nothing more than fiction created by you but are either unable or unwilling to admit it. In either case you would be wise to stop trying to use it as a defense in every post as it only serves to destroy any credability that you may have once had.

In no way is the future and past described by God, and confirmed somewhat by history, fiction. And one cannot help but point out that so called science is founded on a faulty premise, whenever it's fables are waved around.

The issue is not whether so called science likes being exposed, and likes the light.
