There may be some truth to that statement. No he didn´t. He grew up in his isolated society with no connection to anything remotely belgian or european.
Is it really the easy thing to do? I want peace, security and stability for my country and europe. There is a specific group that causes great pain to our people. If the pressure gets high enough you get certain reactions.
Did he eat waffles? j/kNo he didn´t. He grew up in his isolated society with no connection to anything remotely belgian or european.
If he was born in Brussels, he's European. He's of Arab descent.he is an arab. He isn´t european.
Alright, let's see. Born in Brussels. Played soccer. Liked motorbikes. Smoked pot. Drank alcohol and went to gay bars. Worked for the company that manages public transportation in Brussels. Managed a bar. Wasn't radicalized until 2014.No he didn´t. He grew up in his isolated society with no connection to anything remotely belgian or european.
That is no reason to discriminate against all Muslims. Most Muslims disagree with such attacks, and those who support them are only the minoritarian extremists. I hope you do realise this and take this into consideration.
You can´t look into evryones head. You can´t take the 10% out of them...so you send all to their origin country and reduce their overall number in your society to 0. And you have peace
Just one group? Man, I can't think of a single person I know who doesn't share a demographic marker with people who cause great pain. Not sure what I would do if I kicked them all out of my life. Maybe I'll just buy a few acres in the bum middle of nowhere, stick my own flag in the ground, and live off the grid as a hermit. Is it really the easy thing to do? Yep, nothing vaguely Western here. No contact with non-Muslims. Standard isolated, fundamentalist Islamic lifestyle.
The number of Muslims around the world who support things we'd generally consider incompatible with Western liberal democratic values is not nearly as tiny as some people like to say. And, as Patrick states correctly, at some point the "peaceful majority" becomes irrelevant when discussing these things. That is no reason to discriminate against all Muslims. Most Muslims disagree with such attacks, and those who support them are only the minoritarian extremists. I hope you do realise this and take this into consideration.
Hopefully I also make you think. You make me sick.
Truth? Nope, like I said, the Muslims I know are more interested in anime and Oreos. That's the truth I know. Personally, where I live, I'm much, much more likely to be attacked by a Christian man from the hood. What? For someone to state the truth?

If a dog has puppies in a stable, it doesn't make those puppies foals. This is certainly a case of birth trumping environment.
I suspect that their isolation is at least partially self-imposed. I also suspect that it has something to do with the fact that, in a lot of these places, immigrants aren't generally encouraged to really assimilate with the local culture for whatever reason.Did he eat waffles? j/k
There must be a reason for their isolation. I'm not saying that it was not self-imposed, but there are Muslim immigrants in many countries and their children, born in the country, are well-integrated into the society.
Aren't you Europeans the ones who think we Americans are strange for identifying with the birthplaces of our forefathers? Here in the U.S., I say that I'm Irish, but in Europe I was challenged by my friends even when I said "Irish-American."You can´t look into evryones head. You can´t take the 10% out of them...so you send all to their origin country and reduce their overall number in your society to 0. And you have peace
I believe you are right. But, of course, that leaves open the question of the best way to deal with this. In particular, it is not at all clear that we should restrict immigration even if this is so.The number of Muslims around the world who support things we'd generally consider incompatible with Western liberal democratic values is not nearly as tiny as some people like to say.

The majority is irrelevant. You have a group of people where 10% of them bring great sadness to your people.

Why not? If you accept the premise that these people come from cultures that are largely incompatible with Western cultures, and if you look at the fact that not only do these communities by and large not assimilate with the cultures of their new countries (as well as the fact that the social programs of those countries are buckling under the weight of all these new people), why would you not restrict immigration?I believe you are right.
