No it doesn't..... if something is found to be wrong in science who fixes it? Science fixes it.
I something is found to be wrong with religion who fixes it? No one it stays wrong.
This is a myth that science is more self-correcting than any other area of man's thinking. "Science" is not a person and can't fix anything.

That like asking me to show you Hollywood stars that have cheated on the spouse (or worst rape people) that has not already been observed and revealed by the media. Someone could claim Hollywood is self-correcting by pointing at Bill Cosby but of course that correction didn't happen until after the man old.
Like I said, if it happens in mainstream science, and it occasionally does, it is the scientific community that sees it and corrects it. Conversely, creation science is full of deliberately misrepresented science that never gets corrected by the "creation science" community. And never mind the just plain made up stuff.

Don't argue sources unless you can prove them wrong. If you can do that, I'll go to other sources.
The actions described in your source had one that was not a misrepresentation, rather a dated biology description that has now been corrected. The others were due to a lack of knowledge of the time, long corrected now, or actual frauds perpetrated by people outside the field of science.

In reality, it is conservapedia that in braces fraudulent material. A description of Conservapedia by the actual Wikipedia is as follows: "Conservapedia is an English-language wiki encyclopedia project written from an American conservative and Christian fundamentalist point of view". In other words, they are regurgitating fraudulent claims (misrepresentations) already rampant in the "creation science" literature.

Here's your task.
Provide a citation of fraudulent science published in the mainstream peer review science literature, that has not already been observed and corrected by the mainstream scientific community. When bad science gets published in the mainstream science literature, and it does occasionally, it is readily and quickly corrected by those in the scientific community who do not tolerate such misdeeds.

Thankfully more will be turned off than are turned on by his rhetoric and creationism will be the loser in the end, the more prominent he becomes the more people he will turn off, creationists will not see it this way because they will be blinded by his light and will not see the overall damage he is doing.

In addition to your ridiculous attacks on "all americans" you make absolutely no sense here either. Hovind 's organization was always on the fringe of creationism. Not only did creationist see. they flat our rejected him and many of his teachings without any help from anti creationists. this fantasy that creationism will be brought low by one man who had already been rejected is just wishful thinking. He's not like Richard Dawkins that has been embarrassing his side because they still own him though he's proven to be sexist and at times near senile.

Plus as I have already pointed out (to several's chagrin) the massive level of fraud in the scientific community coming out almost monthly in the peer review process is what will turn people off. a TV evangelist who didn't pay his taxes ten years ago isn't making anyone elses front page news but the desperate

Please show us how he did that.

How? It's not that complicated. He didn't pay the taxes owed.

On his own personal taxes, he did not file tax returns and did not report income. He seems to have done this for most of his adult life, but for a three year period... "On July 7, 2006, the United States Tax Court found that Hovind was deficient in paying his federal income taxes in 1995–1997, totaling $520,099."

In the more recent trial, he was paying employees under the table, and not paying their employment and social security taxes. For the three years covered by the charges... "The first 12 counts were willful failure to collect, account for, and pay over federal income taxes and FICA taxes, totaling $473,818 for the 12 fiscal quarters of 2001–2003."

So for just the years that were covered by the legal actions, it totals $993,917.

Desperate people like his supporters who have been whining about this alleged injustice for ten years?

It would help if you actually picked up a history book. Almost every branch of science was founded by a religious person so they not atheist historically led the way and created science. Just as scientist have fixed faulty assumptions about what the scientific facts are Christians have corrected faulty assumptions among theists and corrected them. it Was Wilberforce an avowed Christian who put an end to slavery in the world and he did it by his understanding of the Bible.

Thats a pretty huge thing that was fixed and makes your claim that every thing stays wrong ridiculous.

The idea that science is more self-correcting than any other area including politics is debatable. As others have noted often science correct itself one funnel at a time.

The only people who even hear his supporters to know they have been whining are the desperate that have their ears pressed against the door to hear. Out of the many creationists I know not one even mentions Hovind and most would say...who?

LOL....Yep thats right. They do this all the time. Personify science as if its some entity floating out there.Science is a respectable solid attempt by humans to research the world around them but as part of human knowledge it isn't some divine entity that is ultimately infallible and egads! has its inherent flaws (as most things human). Perhaps they are working out their need for a God?

Here's your task. When bad science gets published in the mainstream science literature, and it does occasionally, it is readily and quickly corrected by those in the scientific community who do not tolerate such misdeeds.

Heres your task....read your quote a few times ad think!!!!

You essentially are saying "show me a fraud that has not been discovered and outed as fraud that has not been corrected.

The circularity in that reasoning is breath taking. How can anyone give a citation for something not observed and corrected since no one publishes a correction for something not observed?????

as for your claim of occasional and quickly. good night man go research your claims. every few months there are reports of more and more and more and some have taken YEARS to discover.

and this is not some claim that scientists are inherently more fraudulent than the general public. This is more recognizing they are as human as the rest of people who are allured by cash and bias. The peer review system itself is corrupted by greed. Same greed that corrupted Hovind. He who publishes gets more stature. He/she who gets more stature gets more grants. increase in salaries and down the line tenure.

it pays green to get published.

No, he was leaving it up to his employees to pay their own taxes. He refused to be complicit with the IRS in taking people's money. You don't really know the facts of the case.

You don't know the facts of the law. Employees and employers are both required to pay FICA taxes. The employee pays 6.2% for social security, and the employer also pays 6.2%. [and similarly 1.45% for medicare] Hovind did not do that, so he was charged and correctly convicted of failure to pay these taxes.

Kent has a 30 day confinement order on him making him stay at home for a month, he will not be allowed to give lectures or interviews until that time is up.
The mega church leaders and their money will be nothing compared to what Kent will pull in, he will charge as much as Sarah Palin and she can get 75 to $100,000,00 a show, http://www.businessinsider.com/sarah-palin-speaking-fees?IR=T
his 8.5 years in prison will be the best thing he ever did, he will be able to employ the best script writers available, his true showmanship will be there for all to see.

Money to be made for Kenny by telling the choir what they want to hear, but I highly doubt he comes near what Palin can pull in.
