That's so weird. Not that they wouldn't let him join, they probably thought he was CIA, but that in a matter of days we've got 3 army guys.

Wonder if this one has ties to Fort Hood and if so what time frame.

In other words, is this some kind of CIA operation, and if so what's the purpose...

We've got one would be assassin and two army guys, one active all with ties to Fort Hood, Afghanistan and 2 with Ukraine commiting terror attacks.

I wonder if this one has a similar backstory in the same time frame.

Huh.... Interesting

"Molloy was only listed as an active duty soldier in the U.S. Army for a period of 35 days in 2019, and in 2021 signed a contract with the U.S. Army Reserve as a Cadet with the ROTC at the University of Illinois in Chicago - though he's no longer a member of the ROTC."

How did he get active duty for 35 days in 2019... Wonder what that was.

There are quite a few, from Oklahoma City to Maine.

Some are terrorists, some are mental illness. But the experts have suggested their training makes them more dangerous than civilian terrorists and mentally ill people.

Maybe that's the OP the CIA is playing. Trying to make people afraid of our military personnel.

These are a few bad (or sick) apples out of millions of current and former military. No need for paranoid fantasies.

Of course there always going to be a few and the military themselves is quite good at policing them.

They don't cluster in terror attacks and presidential assassination attempts, however.

A cluster like this is abnormal.

I think you are considered "active" at start of basic training.

Basic training / boot camp is 10 weeks I believe.

Sounds like he had some type of early separation for some reason then tried again later with the ROTC.
