  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Can you imagine experiencing the Power of God and the next moment the godless and their posts on CF?

I imagine it's akin to attending a science class or working in a field of science, and then coming here and seeing pages of scientific illiteracy.

So you think.

So you think.

This is the problem with questioning God's motives instead of accepting His word. On and on you would go with the questions until ultimately you would ask, "why would God have wanted to make man anyway?" "Ah," you might say, "man came about on his own and everything evolved from that common ancestor." You need to re-evaluate your thinking KomatiteBIF... this path is paved with Godless ideas.

You suggest they're God's motives, but your beliefs in portals of a 4th dimension have no basis in scripture.

Your beliefs lack a scriptural basis, and they lack logic and reason and they lack scientific evidence.

At the very least, our ideas have the evidence and have logic. We don't have to suggest non scripture based portals to alternate dimensions because a global flood never happened. We also don't have to stick our heads in the sand and hide from science...because there is no evidence for a global flood which makes sense if there were no global flood.

And we don't have to even ponder bizarre and rediculous ideas of animals being teleported into this 4th dimension.

It's just comical the lengths that young earthers will go to justify concepts that don't even exist in scripture.

In any case, I submit that hammerspace and/or tardis should give sufficient insight as to how God could have orchestrated His project (the Flood).
Regardless of any miraculous arrangement of the inside of the ark, the earth lacks any sign of a universal flood. For example, ice layers in Greenland go back 400000 years - counted by the annual seasons . . . and we all know what happens to ice when liquid water comes along and rests there for months on end.

Can you imagine experiencing the Power of God and the next moment the godless and their posts on CF?

Knowing firsthand of God's dynamic Power and Being to then see such unbelief in God and His Bible?

Those on CF who think they have arrived in understanding things we present have not come close to where they need to be in what they present.

Imagine many on CF post against what Phillip would present!

Encountering God and His Power and Holiness. And Scripture verses burned into your heart.

Many on CF have no experience of the God of the Bible.

As distinguished below. Many on CF have not experienced of the Power of the Kingdom in our midst.

I understand what you are suggesting and agree. Thus will quit the spiritual only posting

I'm suggesting that if you find the company so intolerable here, perhaps moving to a more exclusive one will soothe your ruffled feathers.

Ok, Kenny. In an effort to progress our discussion, I'd like to ask a few questions:

1. We have identified 4 mechanisms which affect the frequency of alleles in a population. How many mechanisms are required before "proof" can be claimed?
2. How would we know if we found them all?
3. How would we know if we found all mechanisms for ANY observation?
4. How would we know that future discoveries won't nullify some or all of the mechanisms we currently accept as reasonable explanations, for any observation?
5. How would we identify mechanisms that can't come from nature, but rather have to be performed by god?
6. How would we identify mechanisms which hypothetically COULD come from nature, but were actually performed by god instead?

What a post mess. This is over your head.

What you are trying is pull items from select internet sources and say you have "proof" in your post.

No, I'm responding to your request of posting fossil evidence of evolution.

I think it's quite clearly explained.
X million years ago: nostrils at the front.
Today: nostrils on top of the skull

If evolution is true, then we should find skulls with nostrils between the front of the face and the top of the skull in between X million years ago and today.

That is exactly what we find.

You are free to actually explain why you think this doesn't count as evidence.
But I expect nothing but denial and dodges.

You do not see the many sections of missing data. Recognizing conjecture in evolutionary claims is so far above your capability. The result is a mess. Claims, conclusions, presentation of false "proof", and the list goes on.

See? Just like predicted. Only denial and dodges. Not substantial, no logical or reasonable objections. Nothing. Just plain old denial.

The essentials of morphological changes in fossil form between macro-assemblages is not sinking in to your mind.

Irony.

The result is you jabber: stating false claims and conclusions. All based on conjecture that you fail to realize.

Somehow the science behind fossils that are to present evolution is beyond you. Conjecture has been above your head to realize. You are using conjecture to make your definitive proofs. What a mess.

More denial and simple dismissal.
Again nothing substantial, no reasonable explained objections to the evidence.

Just a repeat of your meaningless mantra.

Again, your post is words without reality of presenting evolution by fossils.

This is such a funny line, considering that you YOURSELF then post the picture of the fossils I presented.

Hilarious.

Exponential willfull ignorance!

You present Flippers from feet using a photo of macro-assemblages (different creatures with a multitude of morphological differences. And cannot see the missing fossils between each macro-assemblage.

The fossils in the middle ARE the fossils "between each macro-assemblage" on the left and right ends.

Your dishonesty is through the roof.

The whole creatures had dramatic differences,

Which are represented in the fossil succession, yes.
There isn't a single fossil where this succession isn't present.

one from the other, and that there are no fossils presented that shows how one changed into the other except by massive use of conjecture.

Your continued mantra only shows that NO FOSSIL would ever be good enough for you.
It actually sounds like you want a fossil succession of an entire lineage, where you have a skeleton of EACH GENERATION starting 55 million years ago, till today.

That is insanely dishonest and akin to me saying that unless you can show me a picture of your face of EVERY SECOND that you were alive, I won't accept the claim that you are aging.

And I'll go a step further by saying that even if we could present such a ridiculously absurdly detailed fossil succession, then still it wouldn't be good enough for you. You'll just post the same senseless objections.

Meanwhile, the actual fossil evidence remains unaddressed.
Meanwhile we still have a fossil record that fits the evolutionary narrative for 100% and to which you have no answer at all, besides hand-waving.

But the conjectured required in your photo is plain to see and understand.

The fossils in the picture meet all the criteria of being "transitional fossils".
You can deny that all you want, but unless you post actual reasonable objections and explain how they are not fit as transitionals, your objections remain meaningless and just a result of your a priori fundamentalist religious beliefs.

Thanks to AV, this definition has been presented to you several times:

Kind = Genus

From the online etymology dictionary:

genus: 1550s as a term of logic, "kind or class of things" (biological sense dates from c. 1600), from Latin genus "race, stock, kind; family, birth, descent, origin," from suffixed form of PIE root *gene- "give birth, beget," with derivatives referring to procreation and familial and tribal groups.

Ow, so you changed opinions?
You used to say that a "kind" was something that could interbreed.

You'll never see that happen... they'll push evolution even more. They have to, or their diplomas become handi-wipes.

....and out come the conspiracy theories.

You know an argument / position has hit rock bottom, when it can only be defended by saying that millions of scientists around the world are involved in the biggest conspiracy the world has ever seen.

You are speaking of greedy ungodly scientists.

There are still scientists who care less about establishments and rewards from what they love to do: investigate and find additional information about how things are or could come about.

Those who have met the Creator, seeing Him and eternal life by means of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, have an imprinted understanding of temporal gain is vain. The price tags on everything changes once you meet Him who is on High.

You mean people like Francis Collins?
