CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The things I enjoy were one and all invented by Christians looking to explain Gods creation being He is a God of law, not randomness.
What we have today is merely improvements on the basic science worked out by Christians.....
They expected to be able to figure things out because they understood a Universe created by a God of law would have laws one could figure out and write down to better mankind.
Whether you want to discuss Newton, Gauss, Weber, Maxwell, Lorentz, Pasteur or any of the multitudes that were believers.....
Today most are not, and so science only improves upon what came before.....

The roots of science (among other branches of knowledge) owe more than just Christians. Muslims made significant contributions to mathematics, astronomy, chemistry, etc.
Maybe you should tell that to AV. He seems to have some issues with science...
(I get the feeling he lost a g/f to an academic.)

The Creator formed Family of Creatures, all being different Kinds but having smilarities in form.
The Families of different Kinds are seen in other Crearures: birds, spiders: cats, bats, etc.
In connect the dots the godless scientists have a hard time in these Family domains. Some by use of intelligence and systematic classification scheme may try to set God to the side in His Creation.
Now, show the fossils proving the rise of different dogs from implied ancestoral dogs as shown in the speculative schematic. All we see are different dog-frame-like Creatures. And any variations of these being variations, not sequences showing step-by-step detailed morphological changes of one lifeform changing into another.
You have picked a domain where you are prone to connect Creatores by conjecture, like with birds, spiders, bats, etc.
Evolution leaves out the Creator and His Works and Purposes.
Evolutionary Biology puts man at the center and his godless promotion of evolution.

You think? That's laughable. The majority of biologists and pretty well all palaeontologists couldn't give a stuffed kanagaroo about human evolution. In my own undergraduate course we tolerated the lectures on vertebrate palaeontology only because the lecturer was outstanding. The interesting stuff were the taxa such as brachiopods, graptolites, foraminifera, etc. You know, the ones that provided insights into climate, ecology, evolutionary trajectories, correlations and the like.

Why do you continue to insist that abiogenesis has anything to do with evolution, when it has been explained to you countless times, that it doesn't matter how life started; evolution only deals with how life changes once it is already here?
