Hehe I know I was just being silly. Seriously though, it seems dumb people are actually reproducing faster so maybe we are all actually getting dumber... unless intelligence isn't as genetic as I fear it is.

There could be some truth to that. Because we have social safety nets (which I'm not arguing against), lack of intelligence may no longer play a role in determining who can and cannot successfully reproduce.

Actually it's incorrect. You stated that farmer Brown sold some of the 10 cows he had, not that there was simply a change in the number of cows. So he must have sold >= 1 <= 10 of the cows had originally had. -2 does not fall into that range of numbers.
