I've developed a rather consistent policy. If there is cold, hard evidence supporting a theory and I am not intellectually qualified to challenge the evidence, I am therefore not qualified to challenge the theory.

Clearly, your scientific education has been woefully inadequate, so I would recommend (at least publicly) a neutral stance on the matter if you think it isn't logical enough for your tastes.

A valid point. I suppose the Bible is special in that its followers can use it to contradict physical proof right in front of them. If only there were a way to make fundamentalists understand that their book is no more reliable a source than any other book with no references.
