I've been doing research on the theories of volution and creation, and I am leaning more towards evolution. If you could just give me some reasons why I should believe in the creationist theory than that may help to sway my decision. Know that i will present you with arguements however supporting the theory that I find to be more acceptible.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

by evolution, you mean the big bang and how living beings come from non-living things? (order born out of chaos?)
THAT is what i find unbelievable. A theory is a theory no matter what assumption you use, unless proven in real life. And Christianity is proven in life experience and faith, and 'testing' that it is valid, christians can safely trust in the word of the bible, hence creation.

Yea.... remember the Bible doesnt say that the World was created in 6 days... the hebrew word for day means "period of time" and it wasnt untill the fourth "day" that the Sun and Moon was created, so it couldnt be 24 hour days that we are talking about here. so as Scientists have theorised.. it could have taken millions of days to create the Earth... or it coud have taken a matter of hours.
