  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Seems to me that the Earth is still filled with violence and there is plenty of evil to spare.

Maybe God should try his hand at counseling instead of genocide the next time he decides to do something about the horrendous things that are happening in this world and have been since he last made "contact" two thousand years ago. It isn't like child cancer or rape, murder, torture are new.

I wonder what he could be waiting for?
Matthew 24:37-39King James Version (KJV)
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Seems about right. Also, Noah preached the coming of the flood for 100 years before it came. He warned them, they scoffed. Any one of them could have came aboard, if they believed...... sound familiar?

Anyway, there are all kinds of "men and women of God" to council the people of this world. All you have to do is ask. The Genocide of the hybrids was necessary.....you are human and it is not too late for your. However, in your own words, you have told me you are aware of the prophecy of Matthew 24:37.

What's He waiting for..... only He knows. However, when the clock reaches zero..... there will be no overtime.

So, once again (like AV said about the jews), God's plan to keep his special people alive somehow required mass execution, despite the fact that he purportedly has unlimited power, and had any one of many peaceful solutions at his disposal...
Again, you are not seeing the whole picture..... He wasn't trying to keep His special people alive for their sake only. He did this so that Christ could come and ALL could benefit from His sacrifice on the cross which was for all mankind.

And, what would a peaceful solution be to the conditions of the world at the time of Noah?

I think, AV1611, you are laboring under some misconceptions here. The Bible was never kicked out of the schools. The Bible was never in the schools. Only church-sponsored schools offered much in the way of an education about Scripture. The US is founded upon freedom of religion. Therefore, all should have equal air time. Is the US a Christian nation? You should review carefully the founding fathers, on this matter, especially Adams, Madison, and Jefferson. They had some deep doubts about the appropriateness of Christianity in teh land of the free. They were quite outspoken that Christianity had offered only tyranny, oppression, ignorance, bloodshed, etc. And there is no doubt that the Christian religion has had a very dark side. Hnece, the Treaty of Tripoli opens by stating, "As the United States of America is not founded on the principles of the Christian religion..."You are concerned about brutality. OK, then you need to honestly review the brutality sponsored in the name of Christianity throughout history.
The Bible was in my school as a kid..... Public not catholic school in Canada. We also recited the lords prayer and were taught creation and evolution as two possible theories for the beginning of the universe.

Since then it has been removed, the Lords prayer stopped and the ten commandments removed from the walls of city hall etc.......Yet, even though it is forbidden to have a bible in the school, get kids to recite the lords prayer etc.... they set aside a whole classroom and give the Muslim kids the right and time to go and pray... Not that I'm against that, it's just that you have removed the religion that your country was founded on yet allow a minority to express theirs....
Should not both be allowed?

Working fine for me.

If the genocide was pointless we would have nephilim all over the place.

Couldn't God just make the Nephilim go away? Or purify the DNA directly?

Instead we only have a few hundred skulls and some giant bones that the archaeological world have hidden, lost or deny.

Funnily enough, creationists never seem to get their hands on these special giant bones.

DNA from these skulls show that they are "not quite" human.

Please show where these bones have ever had their DNA tested. What's different about the DNA?

Yet, even though it is forbidden to have a bible in the school,

You can bring a Bible to school. I don't know where you read that you couldn't. Some high schools even have classes that require you to bring one. Mine did.

get kids to recite the lords prayer etc....

Kids can recite the Lord's Prayer all the want. Teachers can't make them do it, but why is that a big deal?

Should not both be allowed?

Both are allowed. You can pray anytime you want in school.

What does that even mean? What does it mean for DNA to be 'diluted'?
Well, If you were 100% Navajo because both your mother and father were full blooded. Then you married a full blooded blond blue eyed Swiss girl and then lived in Sweden your whole life. Your kids and their kids and their kids kids and so on all married Swiss people then your Navajo DNA would be diluted to 1/2 blood, 1/4 blood 1/8 and so on.... Way down the line your DNA may not even be detectable....

Is that good enough?

Really? Because, here in Canada, the news reports from one of US sources sited that during one of the mass shooting incidents in a US school, the teachers were "openly" praying, even though it was against the law to openly pray in a school. Was this bad reporting?

Conspiracy? Sure.... check the links and maybe read them. Post # 531

This is about as much of a conspiracy as a T-Rex skeleton or Stonehenge.... Hundreds of skulls, not human. Paiute Indians legends, Numerous news paper stories from the 1800's, even Abe Lincoln quote.. and, no Mammoth bones were not found in the mounds, They were giant humanoids.

"then as now, Niagara was roaring here. The eyes of that species of extinct giants, whose bones fill the mounds of America, have gazed on Niagara, as ours do now."

Abraham Lincoln, is quoted as saying before Congress in 1848
“The eyes of that species of extinct giant, whose bones fill the mounds of America, have gazed on Niagara as our eyes do now.”

At first when I read this I thought that he was talking about mastodon bones, since he mentions mastodons just a couple sentences later. A similar confusion has attended the writings of Jefferson, who took to the shorthand of describing the mastodon bones he examined as those of “giants,” meaning giant elephants. But mastodon bones do not fill the architectural “mounds of America,” and it would have been weird to describe the giant elephants as gazing with aesthetic appreciation upon Niagara Falls as we do. Lincoln’s mention of mastodons follows as a repetition, making clear that both giant mound-builders and mastodons had looked upon Niagara Falls:

Did you notice a lot of wild, irresponsible speculation, and not a lot to hang an actual conclusion on?

Because we did.

That's not how it works, though.

We can trace ancestry far, far back. For instance, we can detect Neanderthal DNA in humans, and there haven't even been Neanderthals around for thousands and thousands of years.

Do I really need to list a bunch of ways an OMNIPOTENT God could solve the problem peacefully? Apparently you are the one being shortsighted here.

If memory serves, that was added in later in the Bible. Never part of the original story, though, where God doesn't give Noah any instruction to warn anyone, nor does he say that anyone else is allowed on board. Given how specific God can be at times with his instructions, it's a little odd that he wouldn't mention such details.

Edit: Come to think of it, if the whole point of the flood was to get rid of impure bloodlines, why would Noah go around preaching to anyone and let anyone onboard if they believed him? Their beliefs wouldn't matter, they're all infected with the Nephilim blood.
