So, I've been studying cell structure at uni, and through that I have been studying the bacterial flagellum, and the mechanisms of how it works. Now I know that the evolution of the bacterial flagellum is possible, I'm just curious to know whether they've discovered the evolutionary process through which the Mot Complex evolved, and if anyone can explain it, as google's not coming up with anything, and neither does any of my textbooks.

Thanks
Lachie

There's a few papers Google Scholar found:

Abstract - SpringerLink

Bacterial Flagella and Type III Secretion: Case Studies in the Evolution of Complexity

http://submit.biolcell.org/boc/096/0691/boc0960691.pdf

and a book chapter:

Why intelligent design fails: a scientific critique of the new creationism - Matt Young, Taner Edis - Google Books

If you've just been using plain Google, I recommend Google Scholar or Pubmed or another academic database. A regular Google search usually isn't going to find you any actual science unless it is a highly publicized study, like that multicellularity in yeast one last month.

Bacteria, the first sprouts of life on eart," have cell walls which really separates them from Animals.

In the two Kingdom System, Genesis correctly tells us that the Plant kingdom appeared before the Animal Kingdom.

There isn't a 2 Kingdom system, unless you are talking about the antiquated 17th century system.

And bacteria having cell walls makes them plants just like wings make bats and ladybugs the same.
