Again though: that's not you making a 'reasonable assumption'. That's you asking a question. Do you even know what an assumption is?

My assumption is that it takes more for critters to evolve than is presented by science. The proof may be found in the answer to my question.

So answer the question.

No, because you said, in response to the question "What "reasonable assumption" do you refer?" you replied "For example how does evolution explain growth?"

That's not you making a reasonable assumption. That's not even an assumption. That's just you asking a question.
Do you even have a reasonable assumption, as you think it is?

That's an assumption, I will say that (although why it took you so long to say so is quite ridiculous), but it's an assumption that can easily be cleared up if you actually take the time to even study just a little bit.

These mathematical "proofs" never seem to get published by reputable sources. Wonder why?

No need for odds. Evolution is impossible by it's own definition and minimum requirements.

There seems to be some confusion on that point.

Evolution: Frequently Asked Questions
You'll have to point it out. Nothing in that link tells us that individuals evolve during their lifetimes.

"Non-genetic changes that occur during an organism's life span, such as increases in muscle mass due to exercise and diet, cannot be passed on to the next generation and are not examples of evolution."

I deleted that post in favor of a different question.

Q. Does evolution begin with mutation?

No, it begins with natural selection acting on randomly distributed variation.

No, it begins with natural selection acting on randomly distributed variation.

So without randomly distributed variation (in organisms I assume) there is no evolution? How complex must an organism be before it can evolve? What are the minimum physical requirements for the process?

That's correct. Each offspring is slightly different than it's parent and taking the population as a whole, each new generation presents a range of variants to the environment for selection.

So a very complex organism, capable of reproducing, must be present before the process can begin? This seems to be the consensus of all the articles I've read as well.

Not especially complex, no. Just one capable of reproducing with variation. A single simple cell would do it. It would not have to be anywhere near as complex as modern single cell creatures like bacteria.
