It's wise to be particularly wary of intuitions about topics in which you have no expertise - and to treat intuitions about topics in which you have expertise as informed guesses.

You see design because you want to see design not because it's actually there. My concept of God is not one where He always has to tinker with everything to get it working (and doing a bad job of it).It's a bridge too far for my mind. I can't get there from here. You tell me that in order to believe evolution I must disbelieve design. How is that possible when I see design? You've created a conundrum.
Who do you know that has researched, and proven, everything about evolution? That's a lot of material.
You don't have to do that to fully understand evolution. Just like you don't have to be an automotive engineer to fully understand the workings of an internal combustion engine.
