That's too bad.
Although it does serve as yet another example of the dilemma that modern creationists are in.
... you really really dont understand science.
Religious beliefs tend to be in constant flux as well; they change over time as society and cultures themselves change. If you had been born to a different culture in a different time, you'd likely have different religious beliefs.
I understand scientists. They speak for science.
No, you dont.
They're human aren't they?
None of this addresses my point at all, but thanks for playing.I know why both came to that conclusion...it would cost too much. Any oil leak can be fixed, but at what cost. It's ironic that you should have mentioned "shaking at 70 mph". That's a recent development with my car. Midas wants $2400 to fix it. The whole front end is shot, but the car has nearly 400,000 miles on it. I'll nurse it along until I buy a new car.
More evidence that you really have no clue how science works. My belief are "steady state" while scientific theories are in constant flux. Your people should make up their minds about things.![]()
You don't understand scientists if you think that scientific ideas changing as more evidence becomes available is a bad thing.I understand scientists. They speak for science.
Since you quit learning after a few pages of a book or a few minutes of a lecture, your statement is only true for really, really tiny values of "sorta". You sorta understand evolution the way I sorta understand Swahili."Sorta" (kinda) informed.
Right... Like a magic dude breathing on dirt and a fully formed man popped out - for which there is no evidence TO add up - you're totally cool with that.Too much, too confusing. I prefer things simple.
You not only lack expertise, you lack a basic grasp. Big difference.Tell that to those here who criticize my lack of "expertise".
Because, as you gleefully admit, you cannot understand it. Your little circles are easy for those outside of them to see. What do you see when you try to rescue your beliefs? We both view an eyeball. You see evolution, I see design. There's no point is going any further...east is east and west is west.
Isn't it odd that he can easily see the one issue, but not the other...Just because you don't understand how they came to that conclusion does not mean your gut is right and they are wrong.
Do you doubt Ford and Midas just because you don't understand how they came to their conclusion that your oil leak can't be fixed?
Yes, many a simpleton refuse to budge on their "God did it, I believe it, and that's that!!!" outlook on life, but you've tried to use your IQ test results to bolster the 'logic' of YOUR "God did it, I believe it, and that's that!!!" view.My belief are "steady state" while scientific theories are in constant flux. Your people should make up their minds about things.![]()
