If angels are not earthly creatures, they would probably be very different.
Who or what gave birth to the angels?

I contend they did not arrive by evolution, but by an act of creation -- just like everything else.

Evolution did not exist until the acts of creation were finished, and the universe was up and running.

Of course they reproduce. The Bible says they had sex with human women to create the dreaded Nephilim.
Would you like to explain how angels got here in the first place sans evolution?

If you can't, then evolution can take a hike.

And if you can, then evolution can take a hike.

I am sure they have to take a cold shower every time they finish posting on this forum to cleanse themselves of the evil of science.

I would however hate to see how expensive AVET's water bill must be, given the 1.5 or so million posts he has done on this site. That shower must be running continuously!

It doesn't sound so impressive once you realize most of them have been garnered through 'counts'. He spends most of his time in threads just counting to 1000, then starting again. And again. And again. Ad nauseum.

Evidently angels aren't taught in secular academia as exemptions to evolution.
I am not exactly sure what angels consist of. Do you?

What exactly would be taught about angels in secular education?

When you figure it out, get back to us.
No, thanks; that's not my job.

What angels are, and what they consist of are not important to the point I'm making; which is that, when God is doing the work, evolution doesn't apply.

Unevidenced unfalsifiable claims don't apply when dealing with the real world. We can both take something someone else made up and claim its true. Mine at least make for a good story.

Wings... Hmmm! Doesn't look human (or earthly). Did they evolve into having wings?

You're free to hold whatever view you'd like; as long as you're not trying to shove it down our or our children's throats. You're legally allowed to be as ignorant to the facts as you like.

If every mutant from the first cyanobacterium to the first man was a penny, theoretically you should have quintillions of dollars.

But in fact, you have barely enough money to buy a pamphlet that says you've been had.

You can only daisy-chain cyanobacteria-to-man on paper.

If I'm wrong, show me two dollar's worth of evolution.
Are you serious about seeing two hundred fossils?
Would two hundred fossils make a difference to you?

Just fyi, I'm not a YEC.

My questioning response to AV1611:
Giving an estimate, how many times has the earth revolved/rotated around our sun?

I am not going to respond on that dead thread:

How old do you think Adam was when he was created?
Who is Adam?
I would imagine that Adam was born from his mother. His age wasn't calculated until he was born.

Is that part of the King James version, or did it not make the cut?

Okay, I can't argue with that. So, if angels were created, what would they have to do with the discussion of science, particularly earthly creatures reproducing and/or evolving?

If it weren't for trolls and AV1611VET (or is that redundant) this section would have been dead years ago.
From what I have read, threads kind of go from one thing to another. It seems to be a place to hang out and chat. The amount of science varies from thread to thread. Religious discussions seem to be restricted by forum rules. :o

Despite all of the grief that AV causes and receives, I get a sense that there are many people who like to have him around. He knows considerable more about the claims of ToE than the average joe who comes in with the same old arguments.

Look at this thread. It was started by a two post OP, yet the discussion has lasted for 40 plus pages.
