For anyone who doesn't believe in microevolution, I challenge them to take an old bottle of Roundup and come out and spray my weeds.
For anyone who believes in macroevolution, I challenge them to find the oldest man or woman on earth and ask them if they've seen any strange animals around lately.
No -- I'm really not into tractor pulls.Ever watch "Monster Quest" on the History channel?
Well, it is true... to a good approximation under specific conditions. And most of these people probably thought Newtonian model of gravity was true as well.
If I were to meet him face to face, I'd much rather talk about video games or something over a steaming cup of hot chocolate. In real life, I prefer being nice and friendly with people.I was talking to Tinker Grey the other about just that. I would like to have an actual face to face discussion with AV and see how he tries to evade points and squirm from having to make logical statements.

Ya -- I was just kidding.LOL! I'm not sure if that was a joke or not.... Monster Quest is about strange creatures that people have reported seeing. This "investigative team" goes into the area and looks for them. It's really only semi-scientific, but it can still be interesting.
Ya -- I was just kidding.
But for the record, I have not watched Monster Quest.
I don't care for those shows where an investigative team goes into an area, and you sit there for an hour (or however long), while the excitement (tension?) slowly mounts -- then, in the end, the best they have is some fuzzy picture of something, or a clear picture of a 'giant animal', but there's nothing of scale in the picture to compare it to; and they conclude that the whole thing was "inconclusive".
That gets aggravating after awhile.
One thing that spooks the tar out of me is reports of real sightings of what are called Men in Black.I agree. When I was a kid I used to always watch those UFO "documentaries" because I was really into the idea of aliens. It was always a let down at the end of every episode.
Now I just watch X Files instead

And I don't mean those movies, either.
I mean the real-deal, the real McCoy.
Mulder's already been at my door, asking questions about embedded age.I wouldn't be too worried unless you happen to stumble across an EBE or are Agent Mulder.
Do you think Macro evolution happens within just a few generations? For anyone who believes in macroevolution, I challenge them to find the oldest man or woman on earth and ask them if they've seen any strange animals around lately.
And I disagree with how you guys assume that being a creationist is a 'piece of cake' that anyone can handle.
True.To be fair, that depends on how you define it. Probably not by AV's definition, though.
No, but shouldn't we be on the emergent end of something?Do you think Macro evolution happens within just a few generations?
Really? If truthers and birthers can get along with being wrong all the time I don't see why being a creationist would be any more difficult.
No, but shouldn't we be on the emergent end of something?
I don't think you understood my question, but nevermind. That assumes an end. And as far as evolution goes, the only real end is extinction.
Don't new genera emerge as time goes on?Not at all -- there's no end to the process, so there's nothing to emerge from.
I don't think you understood my question, but nevermind.
