, I have no desire to be one. I simply want to ask honest questions and get understandable answers.
But don't "honest questions" indicate an interest in hearing the
answer? Seems to me you already indicated you little interest in learning the science, so your "honest questions" are rendered into
ex cathedra statements against which you will brook no critique.
I believe there are a thousand loophole in your so called 'fact' of evolution but none of you will admit that there are any.
Scientists are well aware of problems in any scientific discipline. Those errors are not found by Creationists, they are
exploited by Creationists. To that end when the defenses arise people do tend to retreat to "absolutes" which is unfortunate.
But Evolution isn't as problematic as Creationists
want it to be.
You think if you sew up one hole that the rest of them will all disappear into nothingness. You are misguided.
Again you seem to be under the impression that you somehow know more about how science works on a daily basis than the scientists you preach to.
Sorry to have to break this to you but on a brief read through of the points you've raised on here most of them are what are called PRATTS (Points Refuted a Thousand Times). These are not legitimate critiques of the science. Perhaps you should
learn the science so you can find
actual critiques of it.
And yes, I can make a judgement based on what I have learned from the bible about a true seeker of God.
Bully for you.
I hope you didn't just tell me I hadn't been a true seeker of God during those 30+ years of my life. Because that would denigrate the hours and effort and pain I went through. You really need to learn some humility, dear. (But I'm glad your obtuse level of pride isn't something God couldn't work through to make himself known to you! Congrats!)
If you don't like it, take it up with Scripture, I am not the Author, simply repeating what is in Scripture. There is a great deal more in Scripture about this topic, but I will not share it unless someone asks honestly for me to supply it.
Frankly, Ursie, I don't need you to preach anything to me. I have numerous Christian friends that I can talk to about faith. (In fact almost all of my friends are Christians, I have almost no atheists in my immediate circle).
So save your "pride" for showing off in your Sunday School class.
You don't have to accept this as truth, but that doesn't change the fact that it is.[/quote]
