Something has never been observed to come, period. We have no examples of anything ever beginning to exist. All we have is state changes of existing matter and energy.

It is rather strange that the same attitude is not held towards other scientific theories. At one time, it was thought that there was a fire like element called phlogiston that was the cause behind fire. Later, we discovered that it was oxidation that caused fire. According the to attitude espoused above, this would seem to indicate that oxidation is false. After all, science is changing its answer so it can't be trusted.

Rather, creationists expect scientists to stick with the same wrong answer. They seem to value dogmatism over accuracy.

Just who do you think is "scrambling?" Evolutionary biology is as strong as ever, maybe even stronger. That is reality. You have probably been soaking up too much "creation ministry" propaganda telling you evolution is a "theory in crisis," or some such nonsense. The lie must taste sweet to you, though.

There are plenty of Christians who accept the reality of common descent. Many even post here in this thread.
