Evidences for evolution

Funny, I would have said the same thing about public school and evoultionary theory. I remember questioning it and seeing my biology teacher (AP) fly off the handle and tell me I was a fanatic for saying, "maybe its wrong, shouldn't we make sure its right by looking at all the facts not just certain ones." Very enlightening. Started me on the path where I found the theory to be wrong

If you want us to take your anecdote seriously, please provide some support. Otherwise, it's just as credible as your supposed Chemistry degree which doesn't require you to know about radioactivity or timing.

Evidence 3: Vestigial structures in animals

Just as evolution can, over time, create new structures in animals, it can also eliminate structures that are no longer necessary. For example, the fossil record shows that whales evolved from mammals that returned to an aquatic lifestyle. However, the whale still grows "legs" in a way, but they are stunted and remained internal in the animals. Snakes are the same way. Both snakes and whales have vestigial pelvises, which cannot be easily explained without the idea that the animals evolved from ancestors that had legs.

Prediction: no species will have a vestigial structure that was not present in its ancestral species

Falsification: since birds (and feathers) evolved on a separate ancestral line than mammals, finding vestigial feathers on a mammal would falsify common descent. We should never find any invertebrates with vestigial backbones, and we should never find reptiles or birds with vestigial mammary glands. We do, however, find vestigial structures in many types of animals, but none that would falsify evolution.


This is one of the most ridiculous holes in the theory of evolution.

1st Off:There is 0% PROOF that any of this occured.

2nd: It is LOSING and not ganing which is the opposite of evolution!

Well Hector there is theories that everything at one time was in water, ancestors lived in the oceans. And this was billions of years ago. btw.

Well IMO i don't care what the so called god from the bible says, there is no evidence of a god. See a planet takes billions of years to be formed. Look at the planet Venus. A lot of people believe that Venus is how the eath was when it was a few billion years ago.

Well yes there is, You can see me, you do tests on me, and you can study me. What does that mean it means there is evidence of me, and proof.
