Evidence of salvation

The best evidence you are saved is you no longer care about whether you go to Hell or go to Heaven. You love God, and others, for the sake of it. If there was no Heaven - even if you were doomed to Hell forever, and ever - even then you would still decide to love God and others.

If you died and found yourself in Hell, even there you would decide to love others and praise God.

You see, the SELF, this thing that you think you are...it has to die. When it dies - I mean when it really, really dies, there is nothing left to be worried about.

What you are asking us to do is impossible. No person is ever sinless. The evidence of being a Christian is not to die to self. Where in the Bible does it say to die to self is the evidence of being a christian. Romans 8:16 tells us that the Holy Spirit dwelling within assures us of our salvation. The evidence or outward working of our faith come in stages. We must not be too quick to say a person must do this or that and then they are a christian. I say just study the Bible and ask God to help you put it into practice in your life. The Holy Spirit dwelling within will guide us into all truth. Then with a trust is God and with the Spirit's help we can live alife pleasing to God. We can not do so with our the Bible.

The Lord is the door (John 10:9). If you need to be saved, you need to come to Him as broken and spilled out. You need to give Him your heart and come directly to Him not man. (Ps.118:8)
