Extreme musical talent, every one that loves music must have it!!!!!!!!!!

Yes , an excellent choice ........ those two musicians are way too brilliant for a casual listen ... I have met John Petrucci

I introduced my friend to Dream Theater, and he showed me that CD "an evening with John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess" and I fell in love with it.

As much as I love Dream Theater, I can't recommend them to everybody. They're not diverse enough. I still haven't met one person who hasn't like at least some of their stuff though!

On a road trip with one of my friend a couple of weekends before, I put in some DT. He knew who they were because another of our friends got him to listen to 'a really long song' by them. I put on tracks 4 & 5 from A Change of Seasons and that changed his mind about them right away.

Now he doesn't mind them.

Van Halen's 1984 and 5150

Here's some homework for you:
Listen to Van Halen I, then listen to VH 1984 and 5150 and tell me that VH1 doesn't absolutely destroy anything else that's VH has ever...and I mean eeever done. Women and Children First is better than 1984 IMO as well.

5150 isn't Van Halen! There's no DRL!!!! It's Van Hagar. Heresy!!!!!

I was so dissapointed when they change the date, all year I've been waiting for this movie to come out December 3rd, and sometime in late december they changed it to december 22nd, in select cities, by the way my city was not selected ...but I'm going anyways.

so for those of you "active" listeners, buy a spearhead CD!
this awesome reggae band will keep you dancing all night/day long, and good lyrics too.

What does 'universal release' actually mean?

By saying "universal release" (which I made up), I mean to say that, since there is no language in the vocals (it's gibberish, just poetic gibberish), as well as the lack of liner notes, ( ) would appeal to all people of all nations.

And it would be the only record in anybody's release, seeing as it goes from almost-classical sounding minimalism to crescendoing, soaring climaxes, appealing to listeners of multiple genres.
