remial walked out of the tavern and looked aroundseeing nobody he knew he decided to go back inside and see what atlasneeded him to do. "So old friend what should i do my men have returned to the city and should be keeping everything midly undercontrol"

Zhash sighed as he thought about it for a second, but realized he could not say anything. There was nothing to say.

That's when he spotted Remial ahead on the street. He had come out of a bar, but had quickly reentered. Zhash pointed him out to Sierra, then continued on, steering toward where they had last seen Remial. Pulling into the tavern, Zhash was pleased to see both Remial and Atlas there. He decided he better wait until Remial finished talking with Atlas before intruding with his invitation to spend the night in his quarters.

Scott had walked back into the tavern and was on his fourth pint just trying to think but for some reason everything was just becoming foggier

*Sierra had been talking with Atlas, Remial and Zhash when she saw Scott downing another pint. She excused herself and went to Scott. She gently took the glass from him* That's enough for you. You'll end up on the floor before you know it.

Zhash had waited until things calmed down a bit, then stepped forward to make his announcement, "I am greatly in debt to you all for coming to the aid of my city...I can think of no way to repay you, but I do offer my hospitality for tonight, and for any night that you honor humble Yitai with your prescences. It has been a long day, and I do beleive we all need our rest before the true work begins."

 

[dramaking]

"I need you and your men...er....dwarves to find a large building with much land, rest and keep your skills sharp.
The same with the humans. We must not weaken. I am not finished yet." he whispered to Remial during Zhash's speach.

*Sierra shook her head placing the lass down and helping Scott up* I love you, but you have to trust me okay?

Zhash picked up on Atlas' whisperings, and though he knew it was rude to listen in on others' conversations, he could not help but give his input, "I might be able to help with the matter of housing the men. I know of several semi-wealthy plantation owners who passed away during the fight. Their land was on the eastern side of Yitai, so their manors are still quite intact. Due to the circumstances, I am quite sure we will be able to temporarily house the soldiers in these manors. If it pleases you."

 

[dramaking]

Atlas turned and looked at Zhashban

"Zhash, if you are not careful you could end up as a politician of the highest order. That would be ideal, thank you. Scott, when you get sober meet me in the top room of the Sleeping Lion, you as well Zhashban, and you Remial. My lady, if you wish to come then you may, though it will bind you to us forever."
Atlas expected this to drive Sierra away, but it didn't matter, it was true, if she came she fall behind the scenes of the political machine of Amoria.

He had long since been hurled to it, Scott and Remial had seen parts of it, probably more than they wished or told, and Zhashban, he had some how managed to remain innocent through it. Some thing that Atlas himself had failed to do

Zhashban bowed, "It is a great honor, I assure you. As for this matter, I will be there as soon as I finish this recent arrangement."

With this, Zhash left the bar and strode to his new office. There, he met the scribe, of which there was always at least one on duty. He motioned the scribe that he was about to dictate a decree. When the scribe was ready, Zhash dictated a small but precise decree that bought the land of the recently deceased manor owners and put them temporarily under the control of the state, under strict promise that they would be returned free of charge within a reasonable time. Satisfied, Zhash walked back out into the streets and began to head for the Sleeping Lion.

 

[dramaking]

Atlas entered the Sleeping Lion, poured himself an ale and dimmed the lights. He needed all of them in his trust because he was planning some thing, some thing big. How goes Isla de Amor so goes Amoria.
His masterstroke.

Perhaps then Kelli would leave Exeter, if he had more power than any other in the world.

This would never happen but he was mad with ambition and jealousy

Scott stood up "I'm sober" he said "it takes more then a couple drinks to get me drunk" he looked over at Sierra " I do trust you now I just couldn't before." with that he got up and walked to the sleeping lion out side he met his old drinking buddy remmial "walk with me my old friend I may need to lean on you" he said smiling but the pain was still there behind his eyes.

 

[WhiteLily]

*Sierra shook her head and went out the back door. She walked slowly, thinking about what to do*

Zhash took a deep breath before pushing open the door to the Sleeping Lion. Seeing Atlas in a somber mood, Zhash silently took a seat in one of the smaller fur-covered chairs. Zhash wondered exactly what Atlas had to say, but he knew it would all be revealed in time.

gs me ack to the old days when times weer good. Always full of seret meetings star crossed lovers who dont relise theyare in love until it is blatently obvious to everyone else. AAhhhhhhh the nastalgia. come we will go up to atlas.
