"I didn't know who to trust Sierra. For all I knew you were sent to kill Atlas. I've seen it done more then once I've even used the method myself but we need not go into that. I will understand if you don't ever want to see me again but I leave with atlas if you so choose you may come along." with this Scott got up and left.

 

[WhiteLily]

*Sierra got up after him* Scott, wait!

Tears came to Zhashban's eyes as the realization of what he had just been chosen as sank in. He didn't know whether to be glad or horrified. He loved his city, but he had never expected to run it. Prostrating himself at Atlas' feet, Zhashban openly wept, "I...I...don't know what to say. I don't know how I'll do it, but I suppose I will. I am not worthy, but I will try. I love this city, I will do nothing to harm it if it is in my control."

 

[dramaking]

"Get up Zhashban. I chose you for that reason, you are the only person who I believe would place the city before personal gain. Myself included. The people love you, and those who don't fear me.
You have every thing needed to be a great ruler.
Rule well."

Atlas left him, saddened by the fact that he never had home that he could have loved with such devotion.

Atlas stood at the highest point, you could see the sea.
He looked the Isla de Amor.

"Look on me Amor, for I am your conqueror. I am the man who shall rule you.

I am Atlas."

Zhash rose, almost involuntarily due to the way Atlas had spoken. Still unsure of himself, but gaining confidence from the words Atlas spoke, Zhash decided it was time to get some things in order if he were to rule this city.

Zhash went in search of some of his old friends that he knew would make perfect advisors and position holders. He didn't want to completely replace those who Retta had put in office because he knew many did deserve their position. There were some, however, that would definitely need to be removed before Zhash left again, wherever that was to.

Leading his new co-politicians with him to the center meeting area, Zhash immediately had many of them appointed to high and low positions. He also made a few suggestions as to changes in the laws governing procedures in Yitai to the general Assembly. Finally, he used his new power to declare this day as a new holiday in the city. It would be called Saving's Day, and each year on Saving's Day, all the city was to call off work for that day and drink a toast to eachother and the past to remember the day they were saved from both outside and inside threats.

This being done, Zhash made his way out on the streets in search of Atlas, Remial, and/or Scott. He wished to invite them to stay at his own home that night.

Scott stoped not wanting to turn around

*Sierra grabbed his shoulder and turned him towards her. She stood on her toes and brushed her lips against Scott's.* Trust me. *She turned away and pushed through the crowd out the door*

Scott followed her through the door but she had just disappeared he couldn't see her anywhere

 

[WhiteLily]

*Sierra swept tears out of her eyes and she dug into the crowd. She bumped into Zhash* Oh, I'm sorry. Oh Zhash, where have you been? Where's Atlas, or Remial?

 

[sampson x]

Zhash couldn't help but noticing Sierra's watery eyes, but he knew that right now, answering her questions would help her get her mind off anything she might be experiencing right now, "I don't know where anyone is, that's why I was wondering the streets. I was hoping you knew where they were. Atlas pretty much just enstated me as the new ruler of this city, so that's where I was. Where's Scott?"

Zhash immediately wished these last words hadn't escaped his mouth. He knew they were the wrong thing to say now. He wasn't sure if she was crying because of something with Scott, but he figured it might have something to do with that.

 

[WhiteLily]

*Sierra shrugged, sniffing slightly and wiping her eyes* Scott's at the tavern we were in, I just left. I don't know where anyone else is

Zhash scuffed his shoe on the road and looked down for a second before coming up with something to say, "Perhaps you would like to walk with me awhile to look for the others, at least until you've settled down a little?"

 

[WhiteLily]

*Nods* That'd be nice

 

[sampson x]

Zhash smiled a bit, glad that things weren't going to be too bad, and he then held out his arm, "All right. Well, I've already searched the northern part of the city, so we don't have to go that way yet. I suppose I was going to go this way next." Zhash pointed with his other hand down a busy street that still had many people on it going about their business in the local markets. It amazed Zhash how quickly the city fell back into it's normal routines after the war.

*Sierra smiled and took Zhash's arm* It is amazing, and Atlas was very gracious for putting you in charge here.

Zhash gave Sierra an odd glance as she seemed to read his mind.

With Sierra in hand, Zhash started off down the street, nodding, "Yes, I suppose he was. I'm not sure how to feel. Right now I feel both dutiful and overwhelmed. Thankful, but dreading."

They will love you as a leader, Yitai is very lucky

"I do not know where we could have met...milady. I do not frequent out of Exeter's boarders. At his request I am to serve you during your stay. Is there any thing I should do?" Vlasdimir said, some what moodily. He was a soldier, not a valet.

Meanwhile Exeter, Count Montagrief, had received a letter penned by one who signed himself "Formerly of the Provinces" a classical phrase referring to one who fled from ruling powers into a safer haven. The man offered help in gaining Isla de Amor and from it conquering all of Amoria...of course he desired money.

Exeter burned the letter.

"Fool. I don't desire Amoria. Merely Atlas."

*Kelli shook her head* Nothing as of now. You have better things to do. Go, I don't need your services. *She turned and sat on her bed*
