Ever had one of those days?

Today was just one of those days where everything I did and everything I said was wrong and everything around me seemed to go wrong. And I have a cold and a fever and I feel dreadful. I just wanted to come home and have someone happy to see me and ask me how my day was. Instead I just came home and went to sleep cause I was so exhausted. I know I'm complaining so I'm sorry. It's just one of those days where I want to know that someone is on my side and I want a physical hug. There is no point to this other than I needed to whine. so sorry.

But hey, it could be worse - you could come home to having to make supper for a bunch of kids, and have more problems for you to deal with, and then you wouldn't be able to have a nap. I'm sure someone somewhere probably did that today and was wishing that they were in your shoes.

And I have a ton of work I should have done but I don't even care if it's done or not. I went to sleep just so I wouldn't have to deal with it, ugh

Hang in there girl! Being sick by yourself is always miserable, but it won't last forever. Be sure to get some rest, drink lots of fluids, and take some medicine with a fever reducer in it! That'll help you at least feel better temporarily.

As close to a physical hug as I can give ya!

On top of what jenptcfan suggested, take a nice, long, hot bath. Nothing better for the blues than a bubble bath! And get a good night's sleep. More than likely, things will look better in the morning.

Make that a lukewarm bath...you don't want to make the fever go up...no matter how 'cold' you feel. Isn't fever nuts? Nothing worse...well except for throwing up.

I know how you feel! It's tough to come home to nothing when you feel so sick. I always want someone to be there to say "aww you're sick, let me make you some soup" or something like that. I look forward to the day when I have a husband to come home to! It does help to take a bubble bath, minty scented bubble bath can help with congestion if you have it, and it's just relaxing. Have a little chocolate or some ice cream if you like. That always helps with stress, and there are low fat varieties if you are watching your figure

Sometimes you just need to let it out - I'm really glad my parents live in town so I can get a hug at least once a week. When they're gone, it's going to get a lot tougher. Even though God is supposed to be all, there just something comforting about a hug.

Mina,

I seem to have plenty of those days. When nothing seems go right, and I often wonder why I even got out of bed in the morning. It is nice to know that someone cares, insn't it?

I think I have finally came to the point in my life, where I realize that God loves me an cares for me when noboy else does. He will see me through the bad days if I just trust in Him.
