Hmm actually, now that I think of it, I don't think I ever tell myself that I need a man to help me with practical things. Probably because I get too used to not having one, that I just take matters into my own hands. Even at work I do this. I'm not petite or small, but I AM a short girl (according to males, anyway), so apparently, my femininity should act as a hindrance from doing manly things. But I shock all the guys when I still lift and do things myself. But yeah, sure, I guess it's still nice to have a man around. If not to do "man" tasks himself, then to at least "bug" me about not doing those "man" tasks properly. Yes, I would actually be willing to accept a "check your oil in the car more often!" type of guy; I really would! I mean, at least for awhile.

I wonder if guys get those feelings when they burn their shirts ironing them or overcook their pasta?
