I still wonder about what Im doing and where I should be. Im one of those who is only told go that way, and not told how far or why.

I serve CF right now and love all I can. but sometimes I wonder and hope for something I dont even know what. Makes it hard to pray for I guess.

I just pray for the vision and strength to be in His ministry where ever I am.

Maybe thats enough for me.

i agree with faulty surplus. just do whatever it is He has placed in your hands to do at this season of your life, and as you remain faithful in that, His purpose and plan for you life will begin to unfold before you. i did the same thing. i remained faithful with whatever God gave me to do at a particular season, and as i remained faithful i found God revealing to me in detail what His plan was for my life. i haven't received the 'whole' picture. there are still some specifics that i'm still seeking God about, but He has shown me enough where i can make steps of faith to progress towards His ultimate will for my life. (sometimes He doesn't give us the whole picture, because He wants us to walk by faith and not by sight.) i believe He will do the same for you. i found it very amazing how much God actually wants to reveal His plan for our lives to us. i was even more amazed by Him when He began giving me clear and specific details concerning my own life. He is faithful, and will show you at the appointed time (see Gal. 4:1-2)

Love,
~jazzy

Have you ever known a David who was trying to fight the battle in Saul's armor?

:thumbsup::amen:

i think this type of thing only winds up creating hurts on top of hurts for the person trying to fulfill this role, and the people expecting them to fulfill the role... it can be very damaging to someone's faith. people come out feeling like failures.... others feel like they've been failed.... it's just hurts on top of hurts. that's why it's important we know the difference, and we walk according to the calling that's on OUR lives. not the calling on someone else's life. i'm the only one that can run the race God has set for me. if i try to run someone else's i will not be very successful at it, because i was never created to walk in their shoes to begin with

Love,

A couple of days ago a man was reading a book that had the word Jesus in the title and a cross on it. Happy to have conversation with another Christian, I started a conversation with him. Turns out he wasn't a believer and the book was a scholarly approach to convincing the reader that Jesus did not exist as a real person.

The customer couldn't rave about the book enough.

Eventually, he asked 'the question' and I shared my testimony of Jesus. The next day or so he came in some more and treated me like his new best friend. Yesterday we were on the same flight out of town and he waited for me to give me a free ride to my hotel in his taxi.

Anyway all of this to say that in Christian circles I am typically considered a kook. But to those whom Jesus sends to hear my testimony, I am treated with great respect and reverence. Without fail.

Thank you Jazzy. It helps just to know I am doing the right thing even if it's not seeming to work out too well. or maybe it is and Im just in a learning stage! Whatever, I do what I can where I am.

that's the right attitude to have. God will use you right where you are as long as you're yielded to Him. and we are all in that same learning stage... i dont think that stage ever ends.. lol :)

DEba dear, you may indeed be a kook; but if you are then I pray God will make us all the same!
