  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This little girl, Trusting what this woman told her, did AS she was guided (and yes, there's more to the guidance), and in a month's time (the legs - that MD's told her "have NO chance of ever, Ever moving") - she got them to move... spontaneously, 2 inches - as was witnessed

Can we see photos? How about a name so we can check this story out ourselves?

While 'simply wishing' may be insufficient, to get you what you want... Consider carefully the Awesome, powerfully-positive, and constructively creative choices..., & decisions of the *Real-you*.

So, all the uplifting self help super-pink type aside...

Can you tell us how to stop what is classically perceived as illness, or not?

Aah, you see - this is one of the *significant* differences between a LITTLE-child, and most adults.

Supposing she had made the mis(sed-)take - & asked, as you are now: "I refuse to BELIEVE, unless you provide me, with "proof". Show me where XYZ, happened to ABC" ~ and fortunately, she didn't do that. Here's what this precious little-girl chose
instead:
Initially, this little girl was taken to a play-ground, where she saw with her own eyes, the *fun* other children have...Whee!, going down a slide, and swinging on the swing; and she wanted to enjoy this also. So in gradual steps, this woman showed her more & more enjoyable... activities, like children Ice-skating, and
how Acorns planted inside the earth (sorta like her nerves inside her body), will grow roots, and if injured, *can grow new roots/nerves* (around the injury), and so on and so forth ... and she sprouted seeds, and watched them grow roots, and (like surgeons) we cut some roots/nerves off :help: , and she watched these seedlings sprout more :D roots, and keep right on growing... :clap:and then, she planted the plantlings in soil, and watched them as one by one, they became 6 different kinds of *beautiful  flowers*. And all this time, she worked with her legs, and with her hands she'd move them here, and there, repeating this woman's *constant, positive* encouragements...to herself,
like: "I know I can, I KNOW I can, I know  *I can*..." and Voila! (as I said before) one day, she moved, at first just 1/4 inch, then 1/2-inch, then 3/4-inch, then 1-inch, and so forth.

And this woman also has helped many adults (adults who regarded themselves as "wayy past these silly kid-stories, which will never help me"). This woman just adjusted her approach; and voila! - people with Alzheimers, and other challenges, had some of their docs take-back their diagnoses - for evidently these people decided that rot was not for them, and they *made new Fun choices* more to their liking... (like joining-up with the Gardening-club, again, etc)

How about a name so we can check this story out, ourselves?
To do so, (according to HIPPA) would be "totally unethical".

But don't let that discourage you.

Simply step outside (the medical-model's 'matrix'), and

Start discovering a bigger, broader world of *enlightening, enriched possibilities*...

Can you tell us how to stop, what is classically perceived as illness, or not?
Yes, some of the steps are:
1. Thankfully :) acknowledge sciences' advances in *Sanitation*, and discoveries of 'Anti-biotics', which have enabled us to live longer, quantitatively...
and
2. Thankfully :) acknowledge sciences' advances of 'Anti-venoms', so in case you get hit with some neuro-toxins, the *Real-you/mind* (beyond the brain/physical-you) gets Timely-FIRST-aided, in cont. its "self-Healing".
and
3. Thankfully :) acknowledge sciences' advances for other EMERGENCY-situations; such as Natural-disasters, freak Accidents, premeditated-crimes, etc.
AND
4. for any sufferer, one huge favor is restoring to them, their own *Fun~HOPE*. Once a person has hope again, all sorts of other possibilities can comes into play. As this little girl, and many countless like her, were blessed with.

(Via (medical) fear-mongers, systematically robbing this hope, people become an effectual "Dependent victim", easily manipulated into even deeper victimhood, and eventually 'despair'. A very-grave injustice. Never, ever - fall for that.)

In the case of 'chroni-c-ities', Always side with *Positive, Constructive...INternal resources*. They are plentiful available, you just learn how to Access..., and BUILD them... UP... , helping people create their new reality.
and
5. Realize, that for chronic-conditions (such as this woman, myself, and others so engaged in, helping others lay to rest) - evidently, successful methods are Available...

IF you're asking "more specifically How, NOW - over the internet", my answer is the same as Merlin's. It's not an evasion, or to keep something secret; not at all. ~
Yet
evidently, it is REAL-experience as I for one, am such an example of. Some time ago, I had 7 toes (as it were) in the grave.
However, thank  you, I'm quite alive now. And for giving me a *New chance*, for the past 25 yrs. I have shared such with as many people, as Jesus graces me, with opportunity to help...

Annie

I find it difficult to accept a fantastic-sounding story without any evidence that such story is real. I could make up a story about someone being cured of decapitation, but without proof, it's just a big story without any meaning.

No, see, this much, what you have said, is fine. It gives me enough information to at least understand what you are talking about. Honestly, I don't know if I believe this would totally heal a person, on it's own, but it certainly seems like it would help the patient along. Thank you for explaining.

I could make up a story about someone being cured of decapitation, but without proof, it's just a big story, without any meaning.
Well, for "decapitation" - I would pray for JESUS' intervention, as
sorry  to say, *my own Faith* would waver significantly, in such a situation. Even as Jesus said, before he left earth " Jhn 14:12¶ "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."

So, I guess my own Faith is, not yet :( that of a grain of mustard-seed.

I find it difficult, to accept a 'fantastic-sounding' story without any evidence that such story is real.
Don't be silly, there's nothing "fantastic-sounding" about this particular example. In our line of work, it amounts to *simple child's play*.

But even with "Photos, and News-articles" provided, which I have for my own such work, you'd
still 'FAITH-*fully* BELIEVE, not'. ~ and the Bible expressly warns, about doubting-Thomas Nay-sayers.

Yet, here on CF - you can read of a similar kind of story
http://www.christianforums.com/showthread.php?p=276955#poststop posted Four years ago...

Cheers! :) and Praise :clap:GOD

Annie .

We can read stories, we can't see documentation...

The whole "it only works if you believe, and asking for prove is bad" paradigm is completely rejected by the medical community. Personally, I wouldn't want anyone trying out procedures on me that they only had "belief" in, and anecdotal evidence as support, without ever actually meeting or seeing someone who had had the procedure successfully done.

Hipocratic oath and confidentiality ethics aside, that doesn't stop people publishing photographs, and step by step instructions in medical journals.

While I have said now that I do believe the idea, to a degree, now that I have heard it, I also need to say--that tendency of a child to believe what they are told seems cute and charming when the idea they are believing is good and wholesome. It is also why, when I was three and the construction worker across the street said "I've got a bunch of cool tools in the back of my truck here. Want to come take a look?" I needed somebody there (my mom) to catch me before I ran over and explain that just because somebody offers something that sounds nice doesn't mean they are really trustworthy.

The tendency to trust without question is not something I would ever encourage--in adults or children.

Honestly,
*each* of us is capable of Choices, both: destructive , and Constructive "

Which is why looking at it, from our vantage-point, we do have an Idea of many wonderful, splendiferous successes, you are yet capable of. And I suspect, so do you

This (glove, or outer covering)-thing you call your "body", in a evidently demonstrated fashion
serves as but the re-presentation of the *Real-you*; are you aware of this?

You were 'diagnosed AT? birth', were you?

Supposing you were. so? - While yet inside your *mortal-body*, you have opportunity, to continue resolving many such challenges, truely.

For instance, a little girl was born with 'spinal-bifida', and had spent most of her short life in a wheel-chair. But then one day: a woman came into her life, who knew she was capable of more, who encouraged her to
1. *Forgive* - what happened way back when, and
2. *Love* - only love... Herself, for any 'mistaken, limited' decision and choices, she made back there, while developing in the womb.
3. *Make new goals*, positive, constructive goals that passionately-Happily...excited her, and made her want to shout, and jump with wanton glee and joy.

This little girl, Trusting what this woman told her, did AS she was guided (and yes, there's more to the guidance), and in a month's time (the legs - that MD's told her "have NO chance of ever, Ever moving") - she got them to move... spontaneously, 2 inches - as was witnessed
And
what about Athletes? - ever heard of average, common individuals, who supposedly only for 'therapy', started as (mis-structured, mis-functioning, mis-taken) kids *playing* in some sport.
But somewhere along the way, they chose to Adopt eminently better BELIEFS, which they then Acted-on (ignoring any/all nay-sayers). And look what successes... some achieved.

What's the difference between their BELIEFS, and yours?

In all likelihood, your heart-muscle is structured, like everyone else's (with 2 atria & ventricles) that works fine enough.

That, currently, your own heart isn't working, as well as you'd like it to - is like I said already, a function of the *Real-you*, (the part of your mind, with which currently you're not in synergy). Synergy you can yet enjoy...

Well great! - and to this "rich, full life" you say you have,

Would you like to ADD another *rich, full life*...
with no need? for a wheel chair, no need? for constant coughing, medicating, nausea, liver failing, and tiredness, and no need? to clamor for 'euthanasia'.

Would you like to ADD an even full-er life? ~ a life, that ... well, you get to choose the rich full details of ...

This little girl, and millions like her, each & all want alot, too.

While 'simply wishing' may be insufficient, to get you what you want... Consider carefully the Awesome, powerfully-positive, and constructively creative choices..., & decisions of the *Real-you*.

I too wish you WELL

Annie

Well, if the glove isn't protecting you because it has holes in it, you get ice cold fingers.

diagnozed at birth? Well, duhuh that is what congenital heart defects is..... ODB, right ventricular hypertrophy. I have a fully AV block, I have Atrial Fibrillation (constant) and to spice things up I also have Asthma......And NO my heart muscle isn't structured like others:doh: ......cause then I would not have all these problems, now would I....

Anyway, I read, draw/paint, am active in my church, I listen to music, go to the theater....and so on and so on....and when I go shopping with a friend they wheel me around, but we have as much fun as two walking friends....

Yes, I suffer from a lot of things, but that doesn't mean I am not able to enjoy life to the fullest.... I believe healthy people forget to enjoy the precious moments more often than those who are ill......

No, I am not just my body...but if it would do what I want, life would be a lot easier....

So, no matter how you put it......I believe and will believe in the freedom to end my life on my terms. And that won't be soon I hope, because I want to annoy a few people more.....:D

that tendency of a child to believe what they are told seems cute and charming

Excellent point! - & why a few help Individuals get the Outcomes *they* want.
As opposed to what the 'MD' wants; which in the case of "chronic"-problems, is
(for reason of the medical-model evidently not working) Not the same thing.

People want *pain GONE, & Individual-Healing*.
MD's order "MORE pain, & one size fits all Cures" (like dead-meat)

It is also why, when I was 3 and the construction worker across the street said
"I've got a bunch of cool tools in the back of my truck here. Want to come take a look?"
I needed somebody there (my mom) to catch me before I ran over and explain that
just because somebody offers something that sounds nice, doesn't mean they are *really trustworthy*.

The tendency to trust, without  question is not something I would ever encourage--in adults or children.
People run that strategy 24/7, in the medical arena -
have you counted the intermeshed ways?, means?, & ends? - 100's are easily recognizable.

Yes, thank *you* for bringing up these 2 valuable points.

Hopefully, someone reading here, will give CAREFUL considerate attention to any Dr.
saying "I (as tho they ARE 'god', which most assuredly an MD is not)
am giving you X-number years/months,days to exist" ~ that
said Receiver has the spiritualEmotional strength to look said MD in the eye, and
say:
"Who?? do you think you are,
forecasting my death, while
planning-out a myriad of ORDERS for making 'your nonsense' my reality, AND
have me pay for such traitorous barbarism not only with my own life,
but further Financially/Emotionally...
$bankrupt$ my family in the process.
You should feel SHAME !, to even think  such grotesque thoughts, let alone carry them out, and
all for twisted
 pleasures of $Benefitting...financially$, at the expense of my sufferings.

From any such career
 criminalities, Society would be *wise protecting themselves*."

Those were some words, tho not all, that Individuals
said to MD's previously,
(afterwards guided thru 'self-Healing...')

Sadly, the vast majority of people seems contend to exist... so miserably, rather than
*LIVE-Abundantly*
as Jesus assureded we *each* can.....

So why should any-human's morals overwrite someone else's right to choose how they want to die?

There is some suggestion that Jesus knew the reprocussions of his actions before he was crucified, which could suggest some form of assisted suicide, especially how he gave in, such that the spear did not kill him.

However, I'd rather believe that Jesus's life was more about how to deal with others and how to follow in God than his life being full of explicit 'how tos', the old testimate has pleanty of those for us to follow...

sk8joyful, what is your point in regard to the topic? If someone is terminal and wants to die with dignity, what is your stance?

For the sake of clarity, let's say the person even attempted self-healing and it didn't work. They want to be done with it. Is euthanasia okay then?

How about I say, "Jesus will love you if you send me money, but to ask for any proof of my claim means you are an unbeliever, and won't get the benefits of what I offer..."

You beat me to it.

Have a heart! Without that tendency, where would snake oil merchants get a living from?

Tragedy beyond tragedy! It would require *gasp* employment!
