Do you realize that when troubles come then will it be made manifest those who knew Him who clung to Him from those who simply borrowed and outwardly did lip service to The Name

MacDonald's belief was not pre-trib and neither was her pastor who coached her .... he made her an icon and pseudo visionary of his church, much the same as Ellen G. White of the SDA

Her purported vision was a post-trib view and this is why the whole MacDonald/Darby story is fraudulent

Those who teach the ruse are the same by their behavior .... their motive is to accuse the Lord's pre-tribulation call as a "lie of the devil" .... when in fact it is just the opposite

And there is one who inspires backward, or opposite, teaching against the Lord's Word [Genesis 3]

When Peter spoke to those who were suffering trials he told them not to scorn Gods discipline. He treats us as His Children. All these things are not meant for our downfall but to strengthen us so that in the day we will stand firm by Faith directed in and on Him alone in all seasons

The alternative to Gods disciplining His children Now so that they won't be condemned with the world is not a good alternative

It is a seared
Conscience and the storing up of His Wrath to the day

It's the same thing. In the end those who truly knew Him will make manifest by what they do when "darkness" comes that they did know of whose Spirit they claimed themselves to be

Just as those who claimed to know Him will make manifest by what they do or don't do that they didn't

Not sure. But that would be great which is why we are told to pray that HE keep us from entering the tribulation.

Which is why He said what He said in Luke 21

Well, let's take a short account, shall we?
Plagues plague the people in churches, the people called christians, for a century now.
Believers - true Christians and false ones both - around the world have been put to death, tortured, imprisoned, beaten, and things unspeakable done to them for centuries,
including millions murdered (martyred) in the last few decades.
IN Scripture it is written that the enemy will be given power in the last days to end the life of believers, not just torment or tempt them.

What could be better !?

Which prayer is this you refer to ?
I remember in particular He said to pray that our flight (if we are even alive)
be not on the Sabbath....
and to pray for strength and wisdom to endure...
but I don't remember praying to NOT enter the tribulation.

Both of the scriptures offered above pertain to a remnant of believing Israel during the tribulation .... the coming time of Jacob's trouble [Jeremiah 30; Matthew 24; Luke 21:20-36] .... nothing to do with today's "church"

Are you one of the 12 tribes of Israel? .... and if so I would assume by your postings that you have accepted Jesus Christ as Messiah and King
