Appearance: brown hair, brown eyes, medium height; the left side of her face is badly scarred from a fire; she wears her hair parted to the left side to help cover her scars, and pulled back with a knotted string.
Clothing: plain, simple, inexpensive dresses, usually patched up in a few places; too-tight shoes.
Personality: friendly, listener, short-tempered, impatient, impertinent; generally looks out for herself before anyone else, out of “necessity” in her opinion; loves music, has a decent singing voice and a good ear for memorizing; purposely keeps her mind off of her father and her past.
Bio: she was basically orphaned in a fire when she was eleven, and reduced to a beggar on the street until a tavern keeper took pity on her and gave her a job as a barmaid. Her father was a sailor, and her mother kept house with her and her five siblings until their house caught afire and burnt down, Erienne just barely living through the tragedy. Her father, who’d been at sea at the time, returned a few months later to find his wife and five of his children dead, his house and all belongings reduced to ashes, and his last living child permanently scarred. Unable to handle it, he abandoned Erienne and sailed away. She hasn’t heard from him since.
When the tavern, The Blue Marina, where she has worked these last eight or nine years, burns down in the second attack, she finds herself for the second time in her life having her world turned to ash, leaving her destitute with no place to go; when she hears of the venture to find Blackface, she decides she has nothing to lose and applies to be the ship’s cook.
Family: Cairid Dannon, father, unknown—as good as dead to Erienne; Lucilda, mother, deceased; Farein, Jaedel, and Sonarin, brothers, deceased; Girianne and Berella, sisters, deceased.
Skills: she can cook, clean, and sew well enough as needed; nine years in a tavern has taught her some basics of self-defense, though generally it's up against drunks
