Liviella led Suki back to their room. After everyone was inside, she placed a spell on the door and windows, so no unwanted ears could hear, or in the case of the windows, see. "Ok, if it's alright with you, I'd like to hear about your past. Starting with why you hate the empire." Liviella said when she was done with the spells.
"It all started five years ago, I suppose. I lived in a small village, so the thaught that the King would have the least bit interest in us never crossed my mind. Despite that, my parents urged my passion of swordfighting and heard from a trader about a master somewhat near by. So they sent me off with what I needed. I practiced under Master Horo for three years. After that time, I came home intending to tell Mother and Father of the good news of recieving my mastery. However, when I arrived at the hill that gave the first glimps of the village, I saw smoke and fire burning the village. I rushed down in search of survivors. I found Agers, the old smith, lying on the ground with open petrified eyes. I learned that Ringaard had done that along with his soldiers. When he told me of my parents' demise, at first I didn't believe him and rushed to where my house would have been I dug and found them burried under rubble and bloodied all over, dead. I weapt until no more tears came and I passed out of pure mental exaustion. When I came to, I had no idea how long had passed, whether a minute or days, but a craving came over me, giving me the strenght to live on. Revenge on the man who slayed my parents. Ringaard. I vowed that I would kill him. So I became a wanderer, trying to anticipate his next strike in hopes of a confrontation. It was only later on that I learned from a bard that my village was one of the first burned down." Suki told her story in a monotone, which made her story all the more unnerving. After a numb silence she spoke again. "I wish I knew what he was searching for!"
"There, we may be of some assistance..." Liviella said before going in to their own story about Ringaard, but not a personal story. She told Suki about Ringaard and the reason he was storming around the country side. She told her what might happen should they fail, and Ringaard get it. She told what they must do and the lead they had.
