Teresa followed the woman into the forest. Later, the woman put a spell on herself of about five feet, Teresa had seen this spell before, many times. When the woman was done, Teresa asked, "How do you know so much about Ringaard?"

"I've heard rumors of him many times over. What he seeks is something, if he had it, would make him even more powerful than the king. It's called 'The Seven Starred Seal'. Now, if he didn't know the ancient language and how to use it, I wouldn't be worried, but this is different. He does know. The Seven Stared Seal was made by the elves, and given to the Riders, for emergency. But before Vrael's last encounter with Galbatorix, Vrael, in desperation, threw it into the ocean before fleeing to the mountains, where he met his death. Before today, I just shrugged all the rumors off as specuation and out of control rumors. That is why I haven't taken action before this." She paused here and thaught even elves, no matter how beautiful and elegant we are, make mistakes, and this is mine... "Now we cannot allow Ringaard more time. It has become a race against the clock. We must return The Seal to the elves where it can be safe. So... Will you help me?"

((Ringaard is too busy looking in the next town. Besides he's not doing anything wrong. But, if you insist...))

Ringaard was galloping when he saw someone in his way. He growled, and said,snarling "Out of the way you insignificant speck. Or do you dare challenge the king and his royal servents?" He was confident this would work, because, other lowly men had cowered in fear at the very thaught of insulting the king. Of course, Galbatorix's reign would end soon.

So... Will you help me?"

those were the words that always put her under pressure. "OK." Teresa said, nodding.

"But, where is The Seal?"

"But, where is The Seal?"

" That's the thing... No one really knows. The only thing to go by is that a fisherman, coming from a small village, found it, and took it back with him. That's why Ringaard hasn't found it yet. He doesn't know either." Liviella said, ominously.

((I don't think you understood. Jaromir is a few miles away from the town, out in the open. He can see the town. Therefore, any rider going from the other town, would see him as they tried to get to the next town.))

"There's plenty of room to ride around me." Jaromir replied.

Teresa nodded. "Where's the Fisherman" She said, looking around, making sure no one was there.

"You dare contradict someone as important as me?!?!"

Teresa nodded. "Where's the Fisherman" She said, looking around, making sure no one was there.

"The fisherman is long dead. it happened a long time ago." Liviella said.

"Well, that's no help at all, now is it!" She said laying down on her back "Does he have any relatives?"

"Well... There might be, but they would be very hard to find. First we would have to find out the fisherman's name, and then if he had any kids, and then, if he did, where they are and THEIR names. It's very long and complex." Liviella said, inwardly daunted by the very idea of all the trouble they'd have to go through.

"Well...Lets ask around town there's gotta be someone who knows." Teresa said standing up.

Liviella was still skeptical. She inwardly shook her head. She apparently had very little experience with this kind of thing. She was doubtful that any of the towns people even knew about the legend. It wasn't like the legend was as well known as that of the riders. The Seal had been secretly made, and especially secretly given. As she had said, if The Seal got into the wrong hands, anyone could be unbelievably strong and powerful. Anyone with knowledge of the Ancient Language could gain this power. their level of knowlege was the level of strength they could control. But since they had to start somewhere, she nodded and said "Alright, but if they don't know what we're talking about, it would be better just to have them forget it."

"Ok, good." Teresa said "Wait! I haven't even learned your name!"

 

[searchingsoul]

"Nor I yours. But mine is Liviella." She said.

 

[Sapphiraleoht]

"You make a good point, mine is Teresa." She said marching off to the town.

Liviella followed. When they came to the town, she started walking around. She was looking for a possible fortuneteller, or a bard. Someone with possible knowledge of what they saught.

Teresa looked around the town. "Ok, I guessing that we should look for a fortune teller. Right?"

"Well, someone like that. As long as they're more knowledgeable than the average person. This kind of information goes past normal gossip." Liviella said.
