Peace is an internal phenomenon. Circumstances can push us to lose our peace, but the two remain separate. God can give people peace in a tornado. We can determine to keep our own peace and resist anxiety.
Oh rest in the Lord.
Philippians 4:6-7 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
We can fear situations, but we are usually resilient enough to get through them. Our loss is in time, reputation, money... but we do not lose our spirits or our God. We just need to change some things to adjust.
Christians were already crucified upside-down, beheaded, beaten, tortured.... but our peace is not controlled by circumstance. Apostles sang God's praises in jail. We can be confident that things we suffer lead toward good ends in the long run, if we do not place all our values on earthly temporal things.
Seek first the kingdom, and all these things will be added unto you.
It's great that you felt peace, and had the sense that God was connecting with you.
And it felt like there where two beds in my room and on the other bed my sister said that a woman went into the high school she went to a killed her two girls..
Was this a dream? Hopefully not literal and true. Turn it completely symbolic in your mind, and consider your sister representing a sister country or religion or organization. The two girls could be things that the killer instigated themselves.
Parents turn the temporary care of their kids over to educational institutions, so the destroying entity might have started projects and then turned them over to companies, but then gone back and tried to destroy them. Like a biofuel project that seemed like a great idea but then was causing other problems.
Or an established ministry that grew to a point of needing a board of directors, but then the founder realized something needed to be stopped.
I have heard a couple people sense that we will soon see some large ministries confronted and shut down for errors people got into. That is similar to high school teen children -- basically loved and good, but treat ethics lightly so get into some trouble. In a large organization, a few mistakes or greedy actions can destroy the reputation and original intents.
Maybe I am digging too deeply into this.
