' The kingdom of God is with in you " Luke 17:21 Thats my whole goal in life in the last 9 years to enter that state of consciousness .Where I can connect to that state of mind.
Joshua 1:9 - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you where ever you go"
When I was in an abusive relationship being bombarded with the "doctrines of men" the above verse helped me to remember where my help comes from
"For I know Whom I have believed and I am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that day" (2 Tim. 1:12)
It's one I turn to a lot. If I'm afraid of death, of pain, of loneliness; if anxiety is overcoming me, if I wonder how I'm going to make it through another day, week or year- I know Whom I have believed.
There are too many. It is really hard to pick one.
But recently when I was writing a post elsewhere, a verse came to.my mind and touches my heart deeply.
Psalms 103:14: "For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust."
To think that God, the creator of the heavens and the earth, the almighty, holy and righteous One would ever care dust like us, be a Father to us, walk with us and give us all things with his own son, is beyond my imagination.
