Hello Im new here and look forward to learning more about the word of god with you. I have never read the bible completely and having now started so late in life( retirement is coming) I am as far as numbers and know I will need to reread the entire book when I finally do finish 
I recently went through a crisis of the little faith I had and remember someone telling me when I was younger that I needed to read the bible myself to trust what I hear. For years I told everyone I believed in god but had issues with the church and yet realized I wasnt living like it at all so...its been a few months now and I have been making some changes to my life in order to reflect my beliefs
I am intent on learning as much as I can everyday to have the knowledge and ability to explain to my family and friends why I believe and not sound ignorant
