Well that all sounds plausible and makes sense; all but the swimming

I think the winged Cat killed your thread--My apologies....
Oh I don't think it's that at all; most people probably thought it was too silly, or are to busy with their lives, during this hot summer. I would have posted another entry but I'm still dealing with slow text insertion; and it doesn't matter what browsers I use or what ever else I do--stops me from posting other forums here--it's just too aggravating. takes 15min for these few lines here. only happens in Cf.
oh well. thanks for postng as much as you did Grummy.

ey y computer is working again did some diagnostics on it at Support seemed to help If anyone is interested and has had text insertion roblems/ideo graphic problems so as far as E's concerned the contest is still open seeing as how it's getting lots of views aybe a newcomer would like to say hi with emoticons

Well not much happening tonight, so I thought i would dust off the old emoti contest and see if I can entice any of those hundreds of new members that have come on board since the last post here, July 8th, as it seems like half of the posters I see on CF lately are newbies, which is a good thing; maybe some of them would like to be as silly we have been here; and actually, when you spend a little time with the buggers (emoticons, not newbie's) they can be fun or maybe some CF'ers that have been here awhile, and have been busy this summer wouldn't mind trying to knock Grumman Tomcat off her CFEEKC (Christian Forums Emoji Emoticon but not Kaomoji Contest) throne; even though she earned it fair and square, also, as all the other contestants were women; I would like at least one other male to join in; hey it's not just the women who can be silly and have fun!
Well...i just noticed that the preceding paragraph was one sentence; so my next contest may be to see who can have the longest run-on sentence.
As Kristen said, in her statement of purpose pined thread; Community Hangouts is for light topics and chat, and there seems to be a lot of heavier weight threads here that should probably go on other forums, that she listed; so maybe, if you haven't, you might read her statement.
And as far as light and frivolous, you couldn't get any more then this contest. So
play the CFEEKC.
