  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Yep, they never mention the terrible 3's do they. In my experience 3 is more of a challenge than 2.

Stick with it. Be THE MOM. Once they learn how to communicate with words more efficiently that helps a lot. Don't let them see you frustrated--they seem to feed off of that and have lots of fun with you :pink: .

*laugh* And my husband asked if I were open to having possibly two more children. You should have seen the look on my face. Heeheehee...... At the rate I'm going, it sounds like mental suicide to have enough children to gang up on us.

The temper tantrums are what really get to me. Boy, I had no idea that my little sweetie could be such a pain in the butt. I knew that as an infant, she had a decent temper. However, she's real bad with her father, the poor guy. She's done things like gotten mad at him for making her finish her dinner, and then gone and wet all over her roomie's bed in retaliation. She's toilet trained, so it wasn't an accident. She's done the same thing to me when throwing a fit in a restraunt. Oh goodness, that was embarassing. She's a good kid for the most part. It's just that when she gets a hair the wrong way, she can be a real hellion. Oy!

We are so glad our 3 yr old is turning 4! At 2 he was great, but his verbal skills are so advanced that we often forget he is not as mature as his 6 and 9 yr old sibs. Poor guy. He can be very tempermantal, but he also shows vast amounts of love. 3 is definately a tough year because of all the changes. Ok, they can all be tough years! I know I'll even miss 3 when it's all gone and grown away...
