Of course it is related to the theory of evolution.

The Theory of Evolution relates to biology.

If you want to learn more about it, I suggest perusing the educational material in the OP.

If you want to learn about or discuss cosmology, I suggest a different thread. That is not the subject of this thread.

I would actually recommend Neil Shubins book, your inner fish. That and "some assembly required".

These are good books, maybe just 5-10 dollars pre-owned on Amazon or eBay.

Steven J Gould's Wonderful life is a good book on Cambrian fauna.

Donald Protheros: The Story of Life in 25 Fossils: Tales of Intrepid Fossil Hunters and the Wonders of Evolution

Carl Sagan's: demon haunted world is good for considering how to think about or how to approach science as a whole. Pretty much anything Sagan is pretty good.

For geology:
Reading the Rocks: The Autobiography of the Earth by Marcia Bjornerud is good.

That and "Bones rocks and stars" by Chris Turney.

*bump*

Seeing a few folks here lately that definitely could benefit from these courses.
Not if they have plants and animals existing prior to 4004 BC.

What are you afraid of?
I don't fear ignorance.

Did Mozart know E=mc2?

Did Darwin know the Sicilian Dragon?

Do you know the Breeches Attack?

We're all ignorant in most categories, and shine in a few.

Ignorance comes naturally.
