Ebay Scam Warning!!

I recieved an email from "ebay" saying that due to the inactivity on my account, I needed to resign-in and re-enter my information.. blah blah.. long email n stuff.. soo I clicked teh link and brought me to some page asking me for my user ID and password.. then the VERY next page it wanted my credit card number and everything. Hmmmm! A glance at the address bar revieled that this site was not under Ebay.. and the page scrolled funny o_o (random fact there) Anywho! Long story not told very well short - if you recieve this email DON'T ENTER TEH INFORMATION! Probably gonna go out to alot of people, so tell your friends n stuff.. people who don't know much about internet stuffle wouldn't know that this is a fake. Just a warning for ya'll!

I got one of those too. I erased the email and did not use the link that was sent. Instead, I went directly to Ebay's website to enter information requested (just in case it was a valid email warning.)

Thanks for the warning. I got an email like that, so I went to ebay's customer service page and emailed them. They said no, it wasn't real, and gave me a link to forward any other suspicious emails to.
