LOL good one. So long as Star Wars Episode III has come out, they have released a Star Wars 6 Episode DVD box set, Halo2 has come out, HL2 has come out, DooM3 has come out, AND DNFE has come out, that date for the end of the world is quiet acceptable to me.

If that is truth.. I cant wait to be the coolest Great Gran Dad on the block taking on the grandkids in VR Duke Nukem Forever (using the Unreal VR Engine v23454 of course

If I wasn't stuck at work right now, I would do a cheesy stick-figure drawing of DukeNukem. Figure it's the closest thing to a screenie to show up in years.

Due to the fact they can't decide on which engine to use, I doubt we will ever see Duke Nukem ForNever

They are prolly gonna use the Half life 3 engine with Rag banana physics and direct-x 23.v effects

Erm they can. They changed from Q2 (i think) to Unreal Engine YEARS ago. That's the only change.

Now the issue is keeping the game in development up to date with current technologies as it goes. So with each new version of the Unreal Engine, they have to port it to the new version, re test, and add newer features (im in the realms of guessing as to what goes on at this point)

But my point is, they HAVE made up thier minds what engine. That was done like 6 years ago!

And like I've said before. What would they loose by stopping developnment and saying "sorry guys but it aint gonna happen"?

Nothing! They gain nothing by "pretending".

Personally I think the success of the Max Pain series has shifted thier focus for a while.

At the end of the day, they run a business, not a joke shop
