okay im not going to get into the details of my dream last night (no worries, nothing bad lol) but do you guys think that God could be trying to tell you something through your dreams? i dream in a weird way. i have dreams everynight and they always involve other ppl.

for example...i had a dream about a friend of mine that i dont talk to that much when im home. but one night i had a really weird dream, where he had been in a elevator and he was robbed and tied down. i yelled for him to get up and he finally stirred. eventually he had enough energy to jump to the landing and i helped pull him up (and in real life, i dont think i would have been able to do that, but in my dream, he was light as a feather so i was able to pull him up and help him get out). then we hugged and he continuly thanked me for saving him.
...when i woke up after this dream, i had this huge gut wrenching feeling that i needed to pray for him and i told my friend that i think he might be struggling with some things and we needed to pray for him (remember i havent talked to him in months) so we did pray for him and his struggles. well she finally talked to him and found out that he was going through a very difficult time and he was finally starting to heal. i think my dream told me to pray for him, but i never would have if i didnt have that dream (well i pray for all my friends, but that morning, i prayed extra hard for him) so yah, i just wanted your guys opinion on this. (oh and by the way, the dream i had last night was about the same guy from the dream i mentioned and i still havent talked to him in months) thank you in advance. God Bless

Well to be honest, I am glad that it was only a dream and hope and pray that it never, ever happens in real life for both of yours sakes. That you would be praying for your friend is thoughtful and considerate.

hello there..yes God does speak through dreams..and it seems He was with you with your friend..i got a dream where i woke up and prayed...God does give dreams to his children..we are all gifted by the Holy Spirit...ask God what these dreams mean..I get dreams...just ask God..He will tell you..He speaks in many ways..God bless you fellow soldier of Christ..

Lord Bless this person with dreams and visions..and draw them closer and closer to you..into a deeper relationship..Lord i pray for this friend of this persons..i pray Lord you will guide and rescue this friend..and bless them..Lord bring them back..deliver and help and help them press through this struggle..in Jesus name amen

As one who has been "gifted" with vivid dreams all my life, I have to say without a doubt that God does use them to talk to us. I've awakened from dreams with thoughts to pray for someone, I've had dreams which revealed the answer to whatever problem I'd been praying about, I've had dreams that gave me comfort during whatever troubling time I was facing. Not all dreams are conversations w/ God, we have to be discerning enough to know the difference. But it's always good advice to listen to them. I've never been steered wrong.

Even if it isn't God, the dream is coming from your subconcious, so you should pay attention to it, think about it, think about what means what to you in the dream, etc...

God does speak through dreams and that we all are indeed gifted by Him and it is in His will if they come true or not.

Sure do - there are always going to be messages behind the dream.

Dreams are really important - you should take them into consideration.

Some dreams do come true and pray that all your bad dreams won't happen. However, there are always going to be messages. God is speaking through your dreams. God is telling you something.

Sometimes, it could be hard to identify but once you reflect the scenes and look at it over and over again - you should be able to get what the message is.

The message could be that you should be more considerate with people /or/ you are a person that loves (tells something about yourself) /or/ you really like this guy.
