[Lessien]

Angel sensed another presence behind her and whirled around.

"What brings the two of you this deep into the woods? You should be more careful, where you wander. there are a lot of scarey things in these parts of thewood, if you know what I mean."

She smiled. "Thanks, but I know my way around. I've been here before...." Angel trailed off, looking around at the trees. They were all so familiar to her...unlike Nightmare Valley.

 

[Everloving]

Star had not been expecting to run into other dreamers quite so soon. She smiled and did a small curtsey. She didn't quite no what to say to real beings that she could not completely control.

"Hi... I'm Star. Lovely weather we're having, eh??"

 

[Lessien]

"Uh, yeah, guess so," Angel said. She looked over at the other two, realized she was in the middle, and took a step backward so they formed a triangle. "Um, I'm Angel."

Aaron looked around. There was a man, and a strange werewolf-like creature standing near him.

"My name's Aaron. I'm a Nightmare Hunter. It's a pleasure to meet the two of you....Now, do either of you know where I am, exactly?"

 

[Brilliand]

Gresholm shrugged. "Let's call this the Wolf Forest." Forest... trees are edible, aren't they? Gresholm plucked a leaf off a tree and started to chew.

 

[rockerchic]

"Name's Shadow, and i often dwel in these parts of the woods. I was serious about what i said. I only hve your best intrests in mind when i say, You should leave these worods imediately. You have no idea the nightmares that dwel here." He warned them. Not only was he trying to protect them from the creatures of the night, but mostly from himself, who he often found most terrifying.

Angel shrugged. "Nightmares, shmitemares. I've handled 'em before. If they attack I can just heal."

 

[LuvAslan]

Alisa, in pjs, flopped onto her bed, exhausted from homework, and nestled into a comfortable position, eager to get to sleep. She loved sleep. With it came dreams, in which she was just what she wanted, exciting and adventurous. In a matter of minutes, she became less and less concious of her room and more concious of her Dreamscape.

Delilah found herself in an art museum, chasing a dangerous thief. Once she had him cornered, he, out of desperation, raised the painting above his head to hit her. Surprised, she wasn't able to protect herself. She threw her hands over her head, out of reflex. The painting slammed into her, but instead of crashing through canvas, as she and the thief had expected, she was thrust into some sort of forest. Still in a heap, she looked around, there were 2 guys and a wolf, and leaped up, taking a firm stance, in case they did not appreciate her presence. "Mind if I drop in?"

 

[Ninjitsu14]

"Excuse me...did you not here what I said....?" Aaron said, clutching the hilt of his blade, which was solid black.

"I'm a Nightmare Hunter, B-Rank. In the world I come from, we are assulted by Nightmares pretty often, recently....So, Nightmare Hunters were created in order to destroy them, to prevent them from entering our world..." Aaron said. He twirled the blade on his finger, lazily walking around, not realizing how close he was getting to slicing the others around him with it.

 

[Brilliand]

Gresholm tried to talk through a mouthful of leaves, and failed utterly. he gave up with a shrug, and concentrated on chewing them thoroughly.

Delilah rolled her eyes and relaxed some. They didn't seem to mind her. Obviously all that guy was interested in was nightmares. And since she wasn't a nightmare, he probly wouldn't attack unless she was in the way. "Would you watch where you swing that blade? You know it isn't a toy."She said to Aaron.

Angel shrugged. "Nightmares, shmitemares. I've handled 'em before. If they attack I can just heal."

Star grinned.

"Nightmarish feinds never dare to get too cloe to me. They prefer things to be dark and spooky," she slowly made her body and the woods around her glow brightly, "and I have a tendency to brighten a room, so to speak. So, creepy guy, what exactly is it that you do??"

Aww great! Ragnarock thought, Rookies! Hey, wait a minute, nightmare attacks! That sounds like something the reasercher would be interested in...

"You said your realm is attacked by nightmares often?" Ragnarock said, morphing to his human form, in order to be polite to the new-comer, "Would you mind telling me more?"

 

[Everloving]

D.K. sat in his cave, warmed by the fire that roasted his dinner. He sighed. His plans were not working quite as well as he had first thought they'd be, but they were slowly coming along. He needed to keep that inspiring fact in mind.

"What is it now??" he turned to the grotesque monsters that had just entered the ave.

"My lord," it came out more growl than speach, "we are prepared to go. Shall I give the order?"

DK flicked his wrist, "Just go. I grow tired of your mindless games. Bring me back a dreamer. A child,as it were. I need this child now. No more phoney attacks on Shine City, my nightmares. Bring me the child."

And the nightmares were off to do their masters bidding.

Delilah rocked from heel to toe, just listening to the conversation. In her dreamscape, she'd never heard of nightmares attacking. What if they did, sometime? She wanted to learn all she could. But perhaps, since she was already here, and not sure how to get back, she might be able to help some how.

"Nightmares attack in my world often...." Aaron said. Funny, he had never called them nightmares before. Was that their name? He always referred to them as demons, but....

"Yes, they attack often.....There's usually three weeks between each attack, and during the three week period, there are minor skirmishes, but they are easily taken care of.....The more powerful nightmares reside in the area close to the portal that brought me here..." Aaron said.

She had to ask, to gauge hw bad the situation was.
"What sort of damage have they caused? You know, in terms of violence and destruction of surroundings?" Delilah asked.

Ragnarock was impressed with the human female, The exact question I was going to ask...why is she interested? Perhaps she too searches for something...

"Yes, and can they be killed? Or, just pushed back?"

"I've roamed the dreamscape for quite sometime now, I wouldn't exactly call myself an expert, but i know my way around. As you may have guessed, just as your friend here. I am A flyer. " he said spreading his batlike wings. "So what exactly brings the two of you here?"

Star shrugged. "I just felt like going for a stroll in the woods. Maybe if I have time I'll check out a coupl of other dreamlands."
