I am of drafting age, and if I was drafted, I would make no complaint in going to Iraq. If the army needs me, I would be happy to serve my country in whatever position that I would be put into. Be it driving a truck, or firing a gun.

By the way: I am a Bush supporter.

if there were a war and i were drafted, i dont think i would be much of a help because i would refuse to kill anyone. i remember when i was registering, i was delaying like a mofo cause i was trying to register as a consciouses(sp?) objector but couldnt. im not gunna fight in war period...especially in one that seems like its gunna end up like vietnam(meaning a waste of time IMO)

The thirteenth was made to end slavery, not the draft. When the ammendment was writen, drafting was common. Your argument would be turned down in any court of law.

Well, couldn't being forced into service (labor) for the military be considered slavery? I don't think you need to be black and foreign to be a slave. And remember, the 13th was made to both end the slavery of the time and to prevent it from happening in the future.

Besides, conscripted armies never work as well as volunteer.
