  • Michigan precincts were ranked according to (otherwise) "straight ticket" Republican voting percentage (x-axis)
  • Trump's percentage then compared relative to "straight ticket" percentage (Trump % - straight ticket % = y-axis)
  • actual total Trump percentage (secondary y-axis in red on the right side of edited graph below) versus (otherwise) "straight ticket" percentage shows the (overall statewide average) expected one-to-one trend (Trump % = straight ticket %) up to about 20% Republican ticket votes in the precinct
  • After that, half of all additional votes for Trump (above the ~20% threshold) were switched to Biden
  • First 20% of a precinct's total allowed votes, if for Trump, were "allowed through" (hence, Trump's early election night leads?)
  • Subsequent Trump votes were switched to Biden with 50-50 probability (hence Biden's late night increasing comeback?)
  • e.g. if 80-100% of a precinct had voted for Trump, algorithm would have reported 50-60% vote for Trump
  • no precincts reported zero votes for Trump, who even received a respectable 40-45-50% in a few polling places, but (as it were) "surplus votes" profiting Trump were skimmed for Biden's cause

Just read the link in Post #23. It's not our fault that "Dr. Shiva" is an idiot who doesn't understand split ticket voting.

Engineering, so not a scientist. Also, not a statistician. (Why would I watch video on this?)
You're more of an expert ?

Than one-two-three-four MIT degrees, up through & including a PhD ?

A pattern as simple as X% of republican voters voted for Biden instead of Trump, but otherwise for other Republicans. The gap is bigger for more Republican precincts *BECAUSE THE HAVE MORE REPUBLICANS*.

[I didn't write the "quote" you had for me, that was inside quote box from me quoting you. Don't do that.]
He addresses that "Mitt Romney objection" early in the video :)

I'm not an engineer. You're getting suckered in by credentialism. His degrees mean *NOTHING* to this problem.

As I explained in another thread about this pattern.

Some conservative voters didn't vote for Trump. Some of them voted for Biden, some went third party. [I know some of them.] But, the voted for Republicans for other offices. I've split tickets myself (not this time). There were at least three PACs working to convince Republicans to vote for Biden instead of Trump. This is probably part of why the phenomena was larger than usual. (See post #23 which I did not write.)

  • Math shows no anomalies in Democratic precincts
  • Whereas, in Republican precincts, progressively more Republican precincts had progressively more votes shifted from Trump to Biden
  • The shifts could be explained as the operation of a well-known "vote weighting" feature of Voting Machines

Are any of them in Applied Mathematics or Statistics? All having a PhD means is that he has broad comprehensive knowledge in his general field and knows his dissertation subject really really well.
