Evidence suggests we can't 'see' beyond a point of time. What's beyond is mere speculations.Infinite regression is impossible. evidence suggest the universe had a beginning.
The beginning is a speculation. But lets say for the arguments sake that it has one, why does it have to be brought into existence, implying that something preceded it?Since the universe had a beginning, it was brought into existence, thus there is a cause that brought it into existence.
If I agree for the arguments sake that there is an uncaused cause, how do you know it's eternal, spaceless, timeless, changeless, immaterial and greater than what it caused?since infinite regression is impossible, there is a first uncaused cause. since the uncaused cause is uncaused, the uncaused cause is eternal. since the uncaused cause is eternal. the uncaused cause is spaceless, timeless, changeless, immaterial. since the first uncaused cause is the cause of everything, the first uncaused cause which no greater can be conceived.
Those are big assumptions.
It surely can't be limited to those two, that's another strange assumption you've made.that can be 1 of 2, an abstract object such as numbers, or a mind. since abstract objects do not cause anything, the first uncaused cause is a mind, therefore the first uncaused cause is God, God exist.
And why are you saying that abstract objects doesn't cause anything? They could've in the time before time.
And that's under the assumptions granted above.
