I know. I want a change of procedure to make the Congresscritters have to read aloud their own bills, unwaivable, so bills would be shorter. The Nancy Pelosi statement that "We'll just have to pass it to see what's in it" was a bit bald. Every Congresscritter should be responsible for everything they voted for. Massive omnibus bills where nobody knows what's in it should not be allowed either. It's all too bloated.

You do realize that the "bloated omnibus bills" are mostly the annual funding bills, right? Each containing lots of details of how Congress wants money spent specifically. What do you want? Bills that just say: "$X for the Department of Defense, $Y for the State Department", and so on? They would be shorter.

They could be somewhere in between what they are now and your straw man example. What I want is bills that address one area at a time, don't have well hidden pork, and that Congresscritters can know exactly what they are voting for. That just isn't the case now.

Well, you need a computer with 16 GB or RAM or more for a small AI model. I have 8 GB of RAM, and my laptop runs slow. It is fun stuff. If you need any help, ask a question in the tech section of the forum, and others here may be able to help you choose the right computer parts, while I can help you find the right AI model.

It is cool that we both enjoy locally run AI software. Hey, goes to show that any age can be into the latest technology.

Whew, that is a lot of money for only 0.04 GB of RAM. 4 MB is so tiny, one could barely fit a song onto that. Moore's Law brother, computers become more advanced at an exponential rate. Heck, one could buy an $80 computer with 8 GB of RAM in 2024. What brand of computer did you use the 4 MB of RAM for? Was it an Apple computer, Compaq, HP, or IBM machine?

This is not about propagating lies at all. The Democrats are just as bad, especially by promoting the killing of unborn babies. Agenda 47 is not in PDF format, so it would be hard to download that into the AI.

I am able to formulate an opinion, but this thread is mainly for Republicans to ask questions about Democratic principles, and Democrats to ask questions about Republican principles. In other words, this thread serves a purpose to clear up misconceptions about both parties.

My personal opinion is that the 3rd party seems to align most with my ideals in 2024, as the left have gone woke, and the Republicans have not put up a candidate who is eloquent and polite mannered. We need to bring back the politics of the 1970s again, where both sides were not as extreme compared to today. And yes, I did download the 1960s-1990s platforms as well, for both sides.
